  1. If you have new seals, put them in. Put rubber grease on the inner lip.
  2. The old pics in your build thread don’t work. Can you put up a pic of the whole car so we know what all the people are talking about in your hidden camera vids?
  3. How are you bleeding air out of the cooling system when you fill it? Did you disconnect a heater hose and remove the bleeder bolt above the thermostat housing? I wonder if blanking the small hoses that go from one water bridge to the other are causing pockets of air to be trapped in the rear, as that’s something you have changed with the supercharger.
  4. My 2c. Could it not just be that the newly rebuilt engine is running a bit hot as it breaks in. Have you managed to do a proper break in drive at different rpms and loads? Is the tune good enough for you to do so? Can you leave the fans on and go for a hoon? How hot is the coolant actually getting?
  5. You could use something like this and put a 180 bend at one end https://www.redlineperformance.co.nz/product/universal-resonator-muffler-twin-25-1/
  6. https://www.repco.co.nz/en/parts-service/cooling/hoses-radiator-coolant/unicoil-hose-spring/p/A1272327 These work well at stopping the hose from folding. They come in different sizes.
  7. @MightyJoe do it. I would rather look at a nice clean underbody than years of oil leaks.
  8. Having more load space than passenger it would always have been registered NA.
  9. Go to tables and images https://vehicleinspection.nzta.govt.nz/virms/in-service-wof-and-cof/introduction/inspection-and-certification-process/identifying-the-vehicle-class you’ll be sorry you asked.
  10. If it fits in a boot I can help you, but it is drop at bro repairs can one of those guys grab it for you?
  11. WOF rules for mudguards: https://vehicleinspection.nzta.govt.nz/virms/in-service-wof-and-cof/general/tyres,-wheels-and-hubs/mudguards see tables and images
  12. I don’t know what the answer is, but here is the seatbelt section of the virm https://vehicleinspection.nzta.govt.nz/virms/in-service-wof-and-cof/general/vehicle-interior/seatbelts-and-seatbelt-anchorages
  13. At a WOF re-check the inspector only checks the failed items BUT must fail any new things if they see them, so get it fixed.
  14. That is not factory tint. Looks pretty dark.
  15. If it is a factory tint it is ok. It will have “AS3” on the safety mark. If it is a film it won’t be factory.

  17. A window does not need to go down for a wof. It does need to have a safety standard on it, so it needs to be up to be checked. A station wagon can have 35% tints max. If there are no back seats it becomes a goods vehicle and then can have dark tints on the rear windows.
  18. My guess would be a stuck solenoid and when it won’t move two gears are engaged.
  19. Put it in park when you park. Problem solved. When was the last time the fluid and filter was changed?
  20. Should take the wof inspector no more than 5 mins to adjust the headlights at the inspection. Did they try to adjust your lights? Was it a testing station? You will struggle to get them in the right spot without a beam setter.
