Havent done too much but a bit more strippping. Pretty much stripped the inside/dash/glove box etc. Have taken glass and trim out of doors. Taken the brake booster/master cylinder and heater box out (heater box was FULLLL of sand from blasting, should of taken out first) Have recieved some new parts Front end bush & steering rebuild kit, rear arm bushing kit. Have a heap of other bits on the way that should be here next week -Wheel bearings, rear axle seals -Shocks -Need to sort springs Going to rebuild and paint the chassis in the coming month or so. Couple of pics of how it sits Not much left. Was meant to work on it today, got bored so slammed it on its arse lol

unsprung is sweet..mates got a bike trailer unsprung we tow it around no trouble..bit bouncy but when you low gotta make compromises!!!

hasnt this always been the case just every wof inspector doesnt know if youve upgraded your turbo with another factory looking/bolt on turbo as they wont know every single turbo model fitted to every different car. Therefore not really looked at that hard unless blatently obvious? Our local wof guy wont give a wof with a bov now as this is in the rules somewhere also

Cool thanks for that Xploit will keep that in mind.. In terms of rust i havent looked to close recently but think its pretty sound. It has lived in a shed its whole life. Was reregistered in 93 after sitting for some time. Only used for 2 years by the looks of carjam then sat till 2001 when my parents used it as a 2nd car for a couple of years. Then has sat again since. Has been in the family since new an is still pretty mint considering its age. Interior especially.

Thing is i cant remember if we just temporarily mounted this/used this when it shit itself or whether we were running for a while like that...It was along time ago lol Might go have a look and see if the original ones there/still working..guessing its not.

This ones been replaced and mounted in the engine bay on the firewall, isnt actually that old looking but wiring is only twisted on at power end and may have shorted on something potentially? But will go back down in a sec n give a hammering an see how it goes. Yeah need a right rear, will keep that in mind, will go try for a wof see what else is wrong if anyhting before i get to carried away buying stuff. Last WOF was in 2002 been sitting in the shed ever since.

So went down and had a look at it this arvo attempt to get it going. From memory the electronic fuel pump had shit itself, sure enough when trying to start pump wasnt working. Motor has solid spark still and oil and only needed a small amount of water to top up radiator. Has a smashed rear tail light n blown out tyre, will put the spare on once its going and take for a WOF see what else it needs before we buy to much for it. Need to track down a pump to get it going so thats the first mission. Theres some pics of the outside for you all!
