  1. I agree with you there needs that half an inch hopefully after it settles it may drop a teeny weeny bit more Can't say just yet havent driven it since before box says up to 20% more stiffnes so I Imangine it will time will tell once I get around to finishing the front door rubbers/bailey channels
  2. Side shot as resquested looks a little off due to driveway is on a slope nothing too crazy
  3. Would of updated last night but Botophucket was not available. Anywho yesterdays progress on the lowering job. Take note of the Lovells springs box beside the car in relation to height/ drop before Boing Comparo not too much difference half way through the job I got worried if there would be any difference (would of felt like a right dumb cunt if i swapped in the same type of springs). Also took the gamble and Didnt buy new shocks to match good thing I didnt as the springs remain captive when car is jacked up- score i suppose Also found the rear shocks are Bilstein units. Cool! no pics of them yet as I didnt have much time and the final Result As you can see shit be lower so quite happy with that. had to take the Towbar off to shut the garage door still then only have a Bee's dick clearance front and rear of the giant sedan More yet to come Cheers
  4. Changing the springs out as I type this Just noticed this thing has bilstein shocks in the rear Are they anything to sing about?
  5. Well I'm pretty fuckung useless! however I have some progress. (If you'd call it that). As per my last post This thing had done a head gasket. Turns out whoever the fuckwit was who assembled the engine (not me I just bought it as a complete engine) didn't fit the head locator dowel thing on the rIght hand side rear of the block this was the cause of all the boiling and coolant dumping into the sump. so yeah. Had to replace those. Also fitted an electronic choke Now it runs like a swiss watch. Now something has been slowly fucking me off about this car have a look! Not so noticeable in this photo but shit it obvious IRL. -its the ride height. namely the rear end I always thought the front was low for a supposed "standard" car. but the rear end takes the cake so now Ive been spending some money and I bought some of this shit. 2inch lowering springs for the rear a new electric ariel (someone has removed the motor from the old one(seriously! why the fuck have people being doing half arsed shit with this car) new outer weather strips front and rear to stop my doors filling up with water and a new bailey channel to eliminate the whislting sound while driving. and... chrome door strikers will hopefully be fitting it all on the weekend. Have more plans in the pipeline for this. please discuss--//oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/44998-wyldes-84-holden-statesman-deville-series-ii/

  7. What was it I heard somewhere that there is a clause in the TPPA about drifting?
  8. Hey man nice camaro. I know nothing of holleys. So my suggestion is slap a q-jet on it.
  9. Hold Up mang..... Ive looked at every solid toyo/nissan diff out and nothing is going to work with my truck the reason being is that those diff have the diff head on the right hand side I need mine on the left hand side so a jeep diff will have to do
  10. Full chassied man. have a look at my first picture you can see the bottom of the body and the low slung chassis hidin underneath
  11. not too clued up on the laws at this stage. could you elaborate obviously the open tread/ no flares is one thing If I cant do it legally then Fuck it Ima do it anyways
  12. Thought I'd throw this up. Due to all the 4.20, Blazer references in Spam of late Bought this thing In Feb 2014 for $7k with 120ks on the clock. This is the LT model and it has full leather trim , Redneck Roof & electric EVERYTHING. In June 2014 we drove it up to wellington the little V6 Vortec ran like a boss owned every road and everyone, Never missed a beat here we are in Kaikoura In May 2015 It did a Big Towing Mission for My wedding. once again she Carried on without complaint. Its a Fantastic Tow Rig Please excuse some of these photos as they are of Potato quality For 18 months it was my wifes Daily until She got this so I now can do what I want with the truck so far Ive had to replace the lower intake Gasket (cunt of a job) replace the dizzy cap and rotor (also a cunt of a job) and clean the interior as the children have made an absolute mess in the back seat. (spilt infant formula gone mouldy (not so cunty of a job. just gross) so now I gotta pull out the back seat (Did I mention that This is also a cunt of a job?) Anyway! The Bottom line is I plan to Turn this into this This will be a slow Build. more on this if Y'all are interested
