  1. Oh wow, I always thought a 323i was a 2.3 litre injected motor - I had an E36 323i, it went well for the whale that it was haha.
  2. Looks like it was a rad turn out. Any more pictures??
  3. Bahaha, in your defense, you were honest with my when buying the wagon, and said that the wiring is... well, churr. Daha. Oh the reverse switch HAHA. Thats halerious, but genius at the same time. Did you throw those plugs in (black and white)?
  4. Niiice looking spit! We chucked a beast on a spit in the weekend.. So much noms.
  5. Completely forgot to text you, Dan - did you nab a chance to look at the plugs? I've been told that the plug on the right is for emissions and I don't actually need that hooked up? Anyways, bump!
  6. Hey dude thanks man. Yeah this is recessed/twin head light wiring system too. I'd imagine those wires should still be there tho, beause they're the headlights etc too. Cheers. If anyone else knows off hand, please feel free to comment!
  7. Hey all, Thanks in advanced for your help, it is very much appreciated. Alright, so some of you may know/be previous owners/may of done the work on this previous.. It’s this wagon here (old image, of the day I got it home): Long story short (hopefully lol) The wiring on this car is just.. Well, all over the place! . I’ve replaced/fixed most of it, but I’ve continued to have gremlins with the electrics, so I went about sourcing a loom, took ages, turns out there a 2 types for ke70s and yep, you guessed it.. it was wrong. I was going to cut/splice and make 1 from the 2 but that just turns all bad, especially because my wiring skills is non-existent. I bit the bullet and brought a second hand complete loom from oldscoolautos. Here is the issue that I face. I don’t know what these two plugs are for. I’m assuming that the bottom one, with the rubber plug goes to the coil/ballast resister? The one circled in red goes to the washer bottle but I don’t know where the other plug goes.. Also, this is the wiring that is on the wagon at the moment. Are these plugs standard? On both the looms that I have there isn’t any plugs, and it runs straight through. I’m picking there was an issue, and someone has split the wires and done their own, hence the churr-bro red wire coming off the plug haha. http://i41.tinypic.com/295ttnq.jpg[/img] Anyways, any help would be appreciated!!

  10. Nice KE25 brah. Although, I think this is in the wrong part of the forum? Is this meant to be in the Project side, not the discussion?
  11. I'm not sure if this is runnning still or anything, but if it is - are you racing at port road?

  13. Instead of guessing, why don't you ring up the council and ask? trololol.. Would love to attend one of these bad ass days. I have seen some video footage, and looks like so much laughs were had
  14. Beachlander; What driveshaft would you be using?
  15. *interested in this f series conversion* When you say "sort your mounts" what do you mean by that?

  17. What is your budget, or at least a ball park figure
  18. Awesome build so far! Looking forward to seeing you on the track.
  19. srsly, can we do something about the page - It's completely freezing my system, and I love to see your progress, but it just makes it impossible to view the build thread. Cheeeeeeers
  20. Daah, new page needed! Those darn photos take too long to open, and quite possibly rape the shit out of my bandwith!
  21. Great choice in colour, top notch to the blokes that did the work - talk about mirror/glass finish! Love love love the matte black flares!
  22. Highly strange.. Perhaps an actual mechanic can shed some light instead of a backyard googler like myself - but seems really weird to me. When you say it moves - are you talking about the spring moving, or the whole strut?
  23. Just do a simple hand-eye check for now - like KK suggested. Make sure that the bolt on the top of the strut is nice and tight, and same with all the other bolts in there. Same/similar suspension as the A31 cefiro/laurels/skylines etc - and my personal experience I wouldn't know why one wiggles and the others don't unless the spring is in side the strut incorrectly. It certainly doesn't sound as tho the spring is uncaptive, otherwise you would have a hella uneven ride, and when it's jacked up, it would look like this.
