  1. On a 1971 Triumph 2000 with the single circuit master cylinder would I need a cert if I fit the tandem master cylinder of the 2500?

  9. I was talking to an old timer who sed if you want to un seize and engine that is relay stuck with pistons corroded into the bores you use milk, pore it in and leave it to it starts to stink. Boat engine re builders use this trick when an engine gets submerged
  10. The plates were sulphated so I put a tea spoon of epson salts into each cell and it broke it down straight away, silicone the top back on and gave it a boost charge and its now at 12.9v, I don't have a load tester but I gess it should maintain at least 12v with the headlights on for a bit?
  11. I got the cap off, one half of the battery top is a cover for the 6 cells and its super glued on but pops off easy, just for fun I am going to try to revive it.

  13. I got a battery desulphator today and a smart charger, the desulphator gets hard wired into the car.
  14. You could make a phase converter from an old 10 HP 3 phase motor, a capacitor and a relay

A friend of mine got one of those boxes off ebay for his tyre changer and it is very well, I run 3 phase motors on single phase with a capacitor start, the problem is it takes a wile to wind up to speed or it stalls, and if I load it up it will stall, I can pretty much garentee that it won't work very well.
  16. You can spray a whole can over a radiator and still see copper, I see the ones from the reco shops just have a light dusting

The Mk4 Zodiac 4 speed gearbox was used alot for other V8 conversions back in the day, the problem with it is it has a funny bolt pattern on the gearbox where it bolts to the bellhousing with like 6 bolts 4 down one side and 2 on the other or something, I have 2 of them on the floor in my shed.   18. Sorry its not a new hub, it needs a repair but its usable
  19. I can sort out the ignition bits, I have the stator plate, a few stators, ignition coils, I may not have any good lighting coils, I can do you a new front hub

  21. You wouldn't happen to have a spare set of flywheels would you? I have big box of bantam engine parts if you need anything?
