Jase
castlemaine rod shop reckon the standy ecu will run a supercharged set up or with a chipped one will go better, 8.3/1 comp ami gona kill it running 8psi? can you flip an sc14 upside down and run it that way as i want to run it on the drivers side, and is the standy fuel pump going to be enough? Requiemk
sc14 = 2litre bit small i thinks. IF you were to say bolt 2 of them on there i dont see whatd be wrong with that
Jase
sc14 is fine thanks plus too expensive to run two at 4 hundred odd each, i want to keep the boost low as well so i can just run the standard ecu, and will also work with the intercooler set up i want to run, not to mention fuel pump etc etc
eke_zetec_RWD
sc14 is 1.4l per rev, m90 is 1.48l per rev. m90 is what thay use on commies. so ful all smaller.

Jase
series twos are a bit hardier the green ones a two you can tell by the return to the radiator, ones from the back twos from front
RUNAMUCK
the motor in that datto is a series one though yuh and it died not long after that photo was taken WTF are you guys smoking? That aint no A series. Yes you can run an S/c14 on a commy, but i'd strongly advise you use an intercooler. They can be mounted flat rather than over and under like the factory did it. Thats how mine is mounted.
Brock-Lee
ahahaha, nah bart it is a series one commodore motor. not an A series.

Jase
as i figure the sc14s are a sealed unit so they must just pool oil in the rear casing so i should be able to run it upside down, then i can still run the set up i want, thats an impressive skid must have the tires goin like 250kmh or has something real heavy in the tray
thegreatestben
not sure if they like running upside down, I know that they won't like being spun in the opposite direction though.
Jase
yeah i wonder if the green ones had probs as one of those is running upside down, backwards lol won't be doing that aye had an ol te125 that would run bacwards, ie warm it up , up hill to stall then rolling back in gear pop the clutch baap in reverse, insane lil twostrokes
