Threeonthetree
Hello, Is anyone able to sandblast a small alloy sheet for me? It's painted on one side with a sort of plasticy paint but the other side is unpainted. The sheet is about 260mm by 260mm and a couple of mm thick. Would rather some GC do it in their garage blaster than take it to a professional as it should only take a couple of minutes at the most. Aue. Snoozin
Wouldn't @Mr Vapourbe the obvious option, being a stones throw from you? I can help also if need be just need some notice.
Threeonthetree
I would ask him but the plasticy paint on it would probably take more effort and require more machine clean up time with a vapour blaster as opposed to a sandblaster. Also the keying of the surface with a sandblast is ideal as I'll repaint one side.
Mr Vapour
I do have the sand blaster In the corner you can come use. Also I sold my extra one to Dillon. He has it set up at his house.
Tumeke
Think there is one at the shed too. Also one in my shed. Never used it though but you're welcome to figure it out if you can be bothered.
