DoBro Jesus
Hey all, So have one of these with the sr20det, nice car and all but sometimes it gets a bit jerky and if you're at idle it's quite lumpy. This happens only every so often and is really intermittent but it's bloody annoying. The revs will fluctuate while you're driving (auto) if you hold it at a steady speed. It has also completely died going around roundabouts like 3 times since we've had it. I'm leaning towards fuel pump but am keen to hear what you guys reckon. Or if you or anyone you know has had one of these with the same problem! Chur.
R3spct
Boost leak, dirty maf, aftermarket leads, old spark plugs? Fuel pumps are getting old so thats a fairly strong contender too. Does it have a stock BOV? Stock airbox?
RUNAMUCK
How's the voltage? Karl had one. It was good at running like shit. Cleaned the Maf, and fitted a new alternator and it fixed it.
fletch
Everything above. Change the fuel filter. It could be blocked and they are cheap. Check the fault codes on the ecu Check the tps voltage at closed and fully open Change the plugs Flush the auto Clean the maf/swap it with a borrowed one to test
