fengqiu Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Hi, I've currently got a LB lancer with a 4G36 1200 in there. it's pretty gutless. I've never done an engine conversions before but I was hoping to go to the 1.6 or maybe the 1.8 . Are there any tips/tricks I should know? I've done a brief search and people say some engines bolts straight in, does anyone know what my options are? Thanks in advance! Adam Quote

I was actually hoping to not get a cert on the car, going from 1.2 to 2L may be too big a jump i think... would the 1.6 version bolt in too? Quote

Any capacity increase will require a cert so you might as well go as big as you can with an easy conversion. Or you could put a good motor in it instead. 2 Quote
