CaMpylobacter Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I think I found them on supercheaps website. Doesn't look like the red ones have a stop lamp function, just tail?? Quote
flyingbrick Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I have found them too.. Placing order now. Dolan I am also wondering if I need two pairs of the red ones..confused. Just will look a bit gayballs having 3 on one side and four on the other (one reverse) would be great if they did have stop in one unit Quote
CaMpylobacter Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 why not roll two reverse? or more of a spotlamp for a reverse lamp tucked a little under the tray? I have a couple of different LED options that I have some spare of if you're keen. 1 Quote
flyingbrick Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Yeah could have two reverse just don't want the whole rear bar full from left to right with lights (but at the same time also like the round led lamps..and those SCA ones look pretty high quality) Anyone have any idea on diameter? May have to pop down and have a look Quote
Muncie Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 Stop tail and a clear strip in bottom for number plate all built into red ones. Saw a set on a landy today so im happy will get photos up tonight been out and about today. If i can get away without a reverse light come wof time i wont bother seems pointless on 150kgs of trailer. CaMpylobacter Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 you dont need reverse ligths on trailers so you'll be sweet Quote
flyingbrick Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Muncie is it these ones? http://m.supercheapauto.co.nz/Product/SCA-Trailer-Lamp-Round-LED-Red-w-License-Plate-Lamp/343457 Quote
Muncie Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 Yup sure is http://i.imgur.com/k5krbh3.jpg http://i.imgur.com/gIOx2jV.jpg Phone pics and links oops. Quote
Muncie Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 Nice man. Any pics of them lit up? Was hoping could re use wiring but its all twisted taped wires underneath so nek job tmrw. Hit bodywork with a dacron mini roller in end its got so many random holes drilled in it thought i best focus on getting it road worthy than getting carried away. But did use some nice hi tech waterborne enamel which has really tidied it up and will give a solid base for whatever i do next. Quote
Muncie Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 The package lights came in is a bit non descriptive however on the actual units it states tail and brake lights. Just powered up off a battery and really bloody bright confident no one will plow up ass of this one unlike my other trailer.... which is for sale offers over 12k Quote
flyingbrick Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 So they have three wires coming out the back of the red ones? Sorry about all the questions haha Quote
Muncie Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 Yup 3 wires. All good no reflector though. Quote
Muncie Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 Bugs me the wheels aren't in centre of wheel arch but for amount of work to move the axle i think I'll learn to live with it. It is so gloriously shiny yet haggard right now i better sort some plates so i can get some mud on it. Quote
CaMpylobacter Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 landys aren't centre either. they're slightly forward of centre at rest, though, rather than backward. slam some 15s on it and get some old skinny 4wd tyres for it for more authentic win 1 Quote
Muncie Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 Will come up with something to get some sexier wheels on or at very least drop it over current ones. A landy roof would be cool if i can find one, A tow bar to hang a bike rack on would be awesome too. Quote
CaMpylobacter Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 there's been a few wagon rooves on trademe lately. Quote
