I've tried a bunch of sheet unfolder trials but they lack any output :-(

I'd like a transition that goes from 50mm diameter to 58mm x 35mm rectangle over 50mm length.

Any help much appreciated- dxf preferred

All good, was a nightmare to try and learn. But when you get the hang of it, you can make some pretty sweet templates. Only 'special' tool needed was a compass going by memory.

So- I have found this site

http://www.tyharness.co.uk/squaretoround/squaretoround.htm

its got a few good free to use programs which are able to print your drawings to scale or any other size you want. The free versions do not have .dxf output which would be a pain for some but i think if needed i'd just pay the money and upgrade to full version (depending on price)

Its the kinda shit that would be very handy for producing professional looking strut towers, transmission tunnels etc etc- you could send the .dxf's off to a workshop for laser cutting and folding so that you receive a part thats nearly ready to install aside from trimming the perimeters.

Hope that helps someone.

I've also so Sm@rt Dr@w 2013 here too which is pretty useful. <- slightly complex to set up.
