ProZac
Dude, that's a tad gay, I would have thought they'd let you away with it because you've been trying to get it a warrant in order to get it registered :-/
DJZ
It's all good, i bought rego online at about 6pm but the system looks like it doesn't update very fast. I've got 2 weeks to take the rego form into a cop shop and I'll get off it. It was a lady cop, she was pretty good about it.

kyteler
I can read it fine, so I guess that means some people can read.
Valiant
Was it your one parked on the grass outside Super Cheap on Blenheim Road yesterday?
DJZ
Yeap, indeed it was. We were having a fund raising barbeque for the Datsun Club.
kyteler
Yeah those aren't exactly ideal additions to the gearbox oil. By the time you've got all these niggles sorted it'll ride and run better than new.
Lincooln
hey man, where did you get the socket from? I need to get one for my Renault gearboxes. Cheers
DJZ
It's a Koken socket, any good tool place should be able to get them. I tried to get an impact one but apparently the supplier doesn't bring them in to NZ.
0R10N
Jesus those look like nasty little surprises (in the gearbox, that is)... FYI, pre-facelift (thin) and facelift (chunky) R30 bumpers are completely different. But of course you now know that and why am I not surprised the rear bumper bolts were buggered? They're the bane of my existence (have had to deal with the same issue on both of my DR30s) - theory is that water gets into the boot and ruins them all. I found some brand new Nissan OEM FJ20ET leads in the States, but the guy selling them is super useless at responding to email. At least I got a part number out of him, so I can always investigate buying some ex Japan...
