danger
Do you guys CT prime first? or is there a "wheel paint"? I was just gonna do basecoat/clearcoat in gold
Simon
I thin as primed my wheels first then gave it the top coat. Deffos recommend a primer on scored or sanded or media blasted alloy.

Simon
Prime from a can is enough. Etch primer. Alloy needs to be full clean though.

Simon
What? Polish first! Then mask the polished areas with clear tape and paint the un polished areas after cleaning everything with a good degreaser / wax remover. If you paint first you will end up polishing off half the paint leaving wobbly edges and filthy paint Trust me, I have been there.
