The weather has been pretty good too, today was stunning. So I dont know what everyone bags on about! I'll be away from the end of November through till mid January when I am moving down permanently. Im staying in a motel at the mo. Dunno about Wyndham, but personally I wouldn't wanna live out there i'd rather be in the city. I actually work out at Edendale right next to Wyndham, and Invercargill to Edendale is 20-25mins drive. And really nice roads, its fully travelable. The 20mins you save in travel time wouldn't be worth it to me to live out there, i'd rather be closer to civilization but circumstances may be different to you. If your work/business is close then it might be beneficial to stay there but what about the kids and missus, will they want to be near places to buy things from? Because Wyndham doesn't have fuckall and neither does Edendale. Mataura is closer to them though. They have.. uhh.. a uhh.. they're close. They're equidistant to Invers and Gore though. Personally, I stay away from Gore. After the badass wreckers there closed down, it's not worth any effort at all. I generally head out Mataura ways quite a bit for fishing. They are both new houses, brick, double garage. Being almost brand new there is nothing much I could tell that was wrong with them, pretty standard room arrangement which you cant really go wrong with. They are generic type houses and there are heaps the same on that street. Seems like a new development type area, quiet and semi rural on the very south of town. I would definately be keen on either of them, but i'd rather be on the northern side of town personally, just because of commuting reasons (my gf will be working in Winton). If nothing much else comes up I may end up being keen. No great rush I suppose. Not moving down properly until Mid Jan, almost seems pointless/waste of money paying rent untill then for the sake of having somewhere.
