thegreatestben
I finished wiring the link G3 in today, pretty much just copied the loom from the corolla which was running sweet as a beet/beat. When I start it up it kinda pops a bit and during cranking the starter kinda cuts a bit like the timing is too far advanced. I'm pretty sure I put the CAS in at TDC etc. Anyway first time I started it up I forgot to hook up map sensor etc and it ran well enough but was running at about 2000rpm. So once I hooked a line onto the map sensor and blocked any blank vacuum ports off I started her up again and she ran... For about 5 seconds. Will start, then die after about the same amount of time every time. Here's a video: http://share.ovi.com/media/thegreatestb ... tben.10018 Any ideas?? The tune is for an identicle motor/setup with the exception of 200cc displacement.

thegreatestben
No dizzy running 4agze cas now. Is there a setting in the G3 software to set the timing. I think there was mention of it for the V5, but can't seem to find anything for G3.
kpr
go to "triggers" -> "calibrate" then turn lock to reference "on" you can either set it the usual way by tuning the dizzy/cas. or you can change the trigger offset in pc link
thegreatestben
Superb. Thanks for that, have packed up for tonight but yes it runs now. Just need to finishing taping up and cover it all with conduit. Have a bucket of removed wires, glad I didn't pay someone to do this. Opened up a whole new world of cashies now
