Mk2 escort steering rack is used because the thread on the tie rod end of it is differant to mk1 escort. This means you can run mk2 tie rod ends. Flares look very similar to what I did to my old escort. To get them like that I cut the three triangles out of the gaurds. One in the middle and one on each side. One area the wheels still scraped was on the inside tub of the rear gaurd. You really need to re fab this to stop scrap and go low. Have to keep saving then and escort will take even longer than expected. .. and i dont even have any major plans... oh well.. There goes my $1000 car and probly $750 access.
