KKtrips
Cam was only on one side of the closed road. I definitely heard both sides light up. Haha
CaMpylobacter
yuhyuh, left one stripe/one line of smoke. LSD's aren't a locker, though, so it happens.

KKtrips
Yeah 5.5Km per litre ain't great. Although NZ isn't exactly flat like Australia. LOL
Spencer
You would be surprised! went through some pretty windy slow shit, best mileage of 15/100 on the flat, worst on the windy stuff of 17/100, have room for improvement.

Spencer
Mean, these fans are sweet, guys with all sorts of wild V8's run them in the desert and say they hardly ever get onto the high speed circuit. Did you grab the temp sender? they have a 2 prong sender for low and high settings, may want to jet back and get that even if its stuffed you want the plug and then get a new one from rockauto. KKtrips
No I didn't get it. Is it in the radiator? I would be happy to run this off a 3 position switch though. It's so easy to wire up even. LOL
Spencer
Electric fans on switches are teh gay, these have a totally sweet relay that makes it all brainless just get power and wire the sender up. No wires to the cab which is arguably just as much hassle as doing it properly! Â I don't know where sender lives I got my gear from ebay, I have a BMW switch as I think it comes on earlier 90 degrees then 100 on high. where as modern stuff runs hotter and the switch is like 102 & 110. KKtrips
Show me your sender and where you put it in... Hang on I'll read your build thread - If it's not there I'm going to be so fucking angry. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
CaMpylobacter
fuck yeah temp switch + manual over-ride is the way if anything.
Spencer
Its not in my project, I stayed mechanical because I ran out of time.
Spencer
But put it in your manifold if you have a spare port, or solder it in the hotside of the radiator like a baws. Its a big sender and a dumb metric thread the BMW one.
KKtrips
I can most probably find a place to put a temp switch without any hassles. I guess I can wire up the low speed to that the high speed to a switch.
