sentra
yea i got a huge lincon ac/dc tig. its a huge unit but they can be found cheap in the right places. only 3 phase tho....330amps comes in handy sometimes tho!!! i kick myself every day (not really) for buying a new high end hf/dc inverter machine instead of a machine liek this and now i cant justify to myself to own 2 tigs but hey, i can go weld stainless handrails toghter onsite in supermarkets in awkward starting positions and thats really useful \ not

cute wee gem
I bought a chinese MiTech tig recently, 200amp, AC and DC, foot control. Have found it to be heaps of fun, and has done everything i've asked of it... I have no other experience of tig's to compare it to though...this one: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Business-farmi ... 395354.htm Exactly what he said. I got a dud machine from him but he ended up giving me a new one and it's been sweet as since. Very good to deal with too.
