Raizer
I thought the S12 had a R180 diff? If they did you would be able to use a Subaru LSD from memory
kyteler
JDM versions were IRS, most Export market versions had a solid rear end.
84_S12
Solid Rear End models have the H190IRS models have the R180 FJ20ET and CA18DET equipped RS-X models have the R200 I think you're right to assume the Datsun utes will be the most likely place to find a donor

84_S12
http://legacycentral.org/library/litera ... ential.htm from the standpoint of a Datsun 510 owner, but the same principle really

DavidTheCreator
they dont seem to have to many problems with them in the wrx's
Hemi
yea r180's are sweet seen them in 300+hp dattos , only real weak point is they still use a two pinion spider so suffer from the same problem that cause the r160's to usually fail , the roll pin the holds the spider rod thing in shears off and the the rod pretty much chatters in the housing then BOOM . so long as lsd unit is functioning though itll be sweet (takes pressure off the spiders) GET A LONGNOSE R200 POSSUM :twisted:/ dont i got one under my tool box and i doubt my poor ca will even be able to turn it lol
