Raizer
You need to take a few mm off the input shaft of the box, otherwise it pushes your crank forward and can fuck your thrust washers. If you don't want to have the flywheel redrilled you can use a Hillman Hunter clutch disc and a stock Xflow pressure plate. You might not even have to mode your tunnel since the Xflows seem to sit lower than a Pinto engine. The stock speedo cable is too short but you can use one from a pinto cortina. Edit: Apparently you can use a crossmember from an auto Escort to mount the box (I think EXCORT on here use's one?) other wise you can use the Sierra crossmember bolted through the floor with plates on top of the floor. You will either have to cut the tunnel for the shifter to come through or get the box modified so the shifter comes through the stock hole (I know someone on here has done it to there's)

BS5620
Yup use the hillman clutch plate(way cheaper) or you can get special ones mad up. No need to mod the tunnel with the 1600 xflow engine, it just fits (could gently massage with a hammer if needed anyways ) I would use the sierra x-member bolted through the floor, way easier. Use a single piece driveshaft (cortina/anglia) would be way easier, but the you gotta change the nose so it fits the g-box I did the convo to my mk1 cortina and my mates mk2 esky wag. Engine runs real nice with the 5 speed

Stacov
Oh yea i have a hyraulic pedal setup do i have to change to cable clutch or will i beable to use my hyraulic setup on the 5spd?

Depending on the model of Tina you will still have to get the shaft shortened (If you have a 1600 MK3 then its the right length) Oh yea i have a hyraulic pedal setup do i have to change to cable clutch or will i beable to use my hyraulic setup on the 5spd? I have seen hydraulic kits for Sierra boxes being sold by Burton's but for the cost involved I would convert to cable!
Stacov
Yea sorry should of said it was for a mk2 cortina Cable clutch would be the go, not rich enough to buy from burtons
Raizer
Might be able to adapt an Escort clutch pedal into the Tina too.

You use the Hunter clutch with a stock Xflow pressure plate. The Hillmans have the same size clutch as a Xflow but with the larger spline that the Pinto gearboxes use.
