DavidTheCreator
cool cool, i might try and catch jeff from choke on the smoke racing at the smoko shop 2mrw, i think he had to change to rack and pinion in his 1uz'd ke35
drftnmaz
kp60 and ke70 are both rack and pinion... i think you'd need to do some measurements then go hunting, i could measure my ke70 if you like, just remember you want the arms to be about the same length as your lower control arms so not to get too much bump steer
Gaz
^^ Correct. A bit of geometry in it and if you get it wrong you wont get cert. I had to get mine checked over by a certain wheel alignment guy (in Rotorua but cant member name, Its down Maisey or Mcpherson on the right I think). Thats prob only if you get cert with Dean Ashcroft who is a harsh bastard. Tok prob wont care. Gaz
DavidTheCreator
driftmaz- yea man that would be awsome. think i might take it to the cert guy down white street, he seems to be all good, but that wont be for a while though, stupid panelwork. eskynut
I've got a KP60 rack and KE70 steering arms in my KE25. The lower arms have to get lengthened about 40mm though. There are a few guys that have done this mod on the club-k forum (http://www.club-k.co.nz) and also on the toymods forum (http://www.toymods.net)
