mark105
probably similar to leaves aye, just like you have to reset leaves youd have to reset the torsion bar.

CaMpylobacter
^ hardcore. they'll either have an ajuster bolt type setup like a hilx or similar, or you'll have to pop them out of a carrier type setup and adjust where they sit in relation to each other (should have splind end at worst) I've little experience with either type, though i will do soon. if it's the bolt/nut type then wind each side down by an equal number of turns (keep reference so you can go back up if needed) and if theyer splined, mark each part so you know how many splines/notches you go down choice. RUNAMUCK
On a Valiant, you just jack the bastard up, and undo a bolt. (Then get the camber corrected with a wheel alignment)
dratsum
jack the frount up so both wheels are off the ground get under the middle of the ute and you will see a threaded bolt with 2nuts on it, undo the first nut and take it off then wind the second one down till u get the desired height . measure how far you go down from the tip of the bolt to the first nut then repeat process for the other side to the same length. make sure you put the lock nuts back on . fishtailfred
you will probably want to reindex the pieces that go on the far end of the torsion bars when you adjust them or they will hang out the bottom somewhat. i didnt do that to mine yet, but i will be for sure. you can not do it and its no different load/lowering wise but the bits can get knocked out when you run over stuff. mk2_escort
iv got a better idea then all of you lol. go to firestone, get a wheel allignment and ask them to do it for you. that way you get a wheel allignment, and lowered for free. just put blocks in the back. iv done it many times, its very simple.
