oh true.. might have to investigate and then find a sedan and steal parts off it lol what style of suspension is in the fronts of the sedans and wagons? is it shitty torsion bar that looks like it would be break at the first pot hole?
-
might roll in the ute..il see how the headgasket goes lol
-
hmm...mines a '78, but the other 2 utes i have are '80s, so parts should be sweet to change over? grill etc
-
did you put the lights into the grill? what years are they, they look alot different to my marina ute :S
-
toughen up lol, try being on a roof 14 floors up, then say its a bit sketchy haha
-
well, took the marina ute in for a wof today at the holden dealership across from work, and it passed with no notes and no repairs, so now fully legal to drive, though the cops are starting to notice it a bit more now haha
-
il come, took the marina in for a wof today, and passed no problems.
-
oh yeah? what time you looking at doing this hahaha
-
yeah theres a couple floating around, i know of one up here too sitting in a paddock - coincedently, the same place as the other marina ute lol but if iv got enough spares too last me a while lol, came with 5 spare doors, 2 spare tailgates, 7 spare guards etc, plus it already had a fully complete shell, currently just stripping it back to bare metal to prepare the bodywork
-
was a very good deal mate, went up on the saturday before auction closed to have a look/purchase, made him an offer, and drove it back to welly the next day lol, best thing is i have a complete spare one for it at my disposal with a rusty floor but straight panels lol
-
well, figured i might as well start a project page, so i picked this up from napier almost a month ago, been sitting in a workshop for about the last ten years lol, so not the straightest, but a good project all together. vehicle, 1964 Austin A60 Cambridge ute. all factory original, with aftermarket rust added. pics; http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v685/bdazl/Pa242069.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v685/bdazl/Pa242067.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v685/bdazl/Pa242062.jpg plans for it so far are too fix up the rust, repair the tray, prob change it inside slightly for future mods, not sure how it will end up yet. and pics of the daily driver for work use lol, 78 morris marina pickup, running a 4k/4speed, but will be changed to 5speed when i find one. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v685/bdazl/P1010487.jpg - dave

hmm...if the ute has a wof i might roll over and meet some of yas for once lol
-
theres also a place on the side of highway 58 which does rust repairs, im not sure of how much though, but il be getting a couple quotes on friday/saturday for my car, so will let you know rates
-
theres an engineering place in the hutt, cant remember the name, but near the wakefield st turn off on the road which has station village etc, have seen a sign outside, and advertises doing springs, may be worth a call to see if they can do yours too?
-
just rust in tawa, all they do is remove the rust, plate it and prime with a bit of filler. pretty damn cheap too depending on the size of the holes lol
-
tried the low rider forums also?
