If they make it in the piston then it is very easy to make two differant compression engines with the same block and head. Ie they only have to change the piston dish or dome to change compression. Thats not excalty correct and some what missleading compression is a formula worked out from the volume of chamber and cylinder at bottom dead center verses the volume of the chamber at top dead centre so it not ONLY the size of the chamber that Determines compression ratio but the amount of stroke as well.
