Gaz
Have you any 90 thou over so I can go to 2.1l?? Dont think I have any 90tho over. Plus I wouldnt goto 90thou over anyways. Not many blocks can take it. You wont notice the differance between 60tho over or 90tho anyways and itll bea lot safer.. Ill see if I can get any tho. Limited stock. I dunno how much this dude has. Pretty sure he has most the parts to rebuild whole engines tho. Will ask. I know he has bearings and gaskets. Id go at least 40tho overs. 60tho would be safer. Can still run 60tho over with standard everything else.

Gaz
Yes have to rebore. If you have the pistons out already you can measure what size you need and I can try to get the right size. With old blocks it could have been rebored before so may not be standard.
d.p.n.s
hi mate the only thing i have to maesure with at the moment is a tape measure (not very good i know) untill the weekend but the tape measure its 91mm
Gaz
Haha. A tape measure is no good. Ill ring up tommorow and see what sizes I can get and for what price. might give me a discount for multiple. Can also get some other engine pistons like the crossflow pistons. You have to measure acuratly or the pistons will be no good. If it needs a rebore just go with 60tho over pistons. That way you know your not going to go too small.
cute wee gem
Most oversize pistons have +.20 or whatever engraved in them don't they?
Raizer
Yeap on the edge of the crown, need to take the carbon off with a drill mounted wire fitting or similar
Gaz
These ones have it on the top. In mm Basically 90.82 is standard pinto bore OS 10thou = .25mm 20thou = .50mm 30thou = .75mm 40thou = 1.0mm 60thou = 1.50mm 90thou = 2.25mm Its not absoulutly correct as 10thou isnt exactly .25mm its .254mm but thats close enough. mm is usually american measurment/pistons. Pinto sizes usually come in 20, 40, 60 thou over. 90thou over is usually aftermarket and expensive. They dont make/import 10thou over anymore in NZ. Even 20thou is hard to find. just usefull info.
