Those skid's wernt too exciting. got a nice park thou infront of the pad reversed the mates kingswood ute up and finished a few boxes a couple nice 8's there thou, the rotary's were a sure let down.. fucking soft cocked bastard's too pussy to pop a diff. the weather was good thou! SYKOV6 Posted December 19, 2005 Share Posted December 19, 2005 ive done nothing to the car, am bustin my arse gettin my house finished b4 xmas. will pull motor out and have a look at it over xmas/new year and then make a decesion on what im going to do with it. went for a ride in a s4 rx 7 with a lexus v8 and 5 speed had link etc . had mega low down torque but lacked the top end charge i want . the corty would blitz it for top end. the 7 would prolly run high 13s at the strip but it would be a sik skid car can fry the treads easy in 1st/2nd. i see theres another skidfest on on the 27th of dec anyone going? anyone going to the drags in taupo on the 2nd jan? the guy i work with is racing his rx3 car is easily capable of 10s itll be down to how big his balls are on the launch some of u napier guys might have seen it , was yellow now ford blue looks real tidy and has 300kw at tyres[scary fast]. any way all u guys and girls have an awesome xmas/new year drop round for a beer if ya at a loose end james. dave Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

SYKOV6 Posted December 19, 2005 Share Posted December 19, 2005 yeah should be a good day heard they havnt got the run off or return road sealed yet theve only got 10 days. ryan's had the 3 for about 5 years but its been off the road for a while when the mild 13b turb lunched itself. got the full house[about 30gs] rotormax treatment just had it all tuned and dynoed did 299kw at wheels on only 14lbs boost. they ran it up to 18lbs but the exhaust was too restrictive and killed power. will tune it for race gas and 25lbs once has raced it and seen how it goes. once its tuned like that will not be much of a road car so hes a bit reluctant plus the exhaust will exit by front guard so may b a tad noisy for the local constabulary Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
