two_days_late
if you search tyre size rim chart on google theres a few differnt charts that might be of help. this one seems to be the best: http://www.maserati-rc.org/techtips/Techtip045.htm cheers Matt[/url][/i]
atropine
http://www.net-comber.com/tirecalc.html go there to measure the height of different wheel sizes also helps determine how much different wheels will throw ya speedo out
SYKOV6
there may b a 265/50/15 BFG that will fit . might be a stretch on a 7in rim though and under the guards of ya capri
atropine
BFGs would be ultimate
RT
hmmm I don't think a 265 would fit a 7"... and probably not under the capri either. None of those links seem to help tell me what can fit..
Chrome_GT
Probably the best way to find out is just go in and see firestone or something. See what they've got and they'll tell ya whats manufactured next door. Langdons road. Also talk to people who sell Yokohama cos they do weird tire sizes. I think yoko and one other are the only company that still manufacture mini 10" tyres.
atropine
no get BFGs! im sure ya can get quite a range.. seen 215/somfinR13s even though the majority of em are wide fuckers
CaMpylobacter
hmmm I don't think a 265 would fit a 7"... nor would it handle nicely plus it'd look shithouse!!!!! get some wider rims y0.
RT
handle? pah.. I don't need it to handle. If I wanted my capri to handle I would have bought an escort. Besides, I live in Chch, aint no corners here dude. Yeah the thing is, I've got a hookup for tires but I don't wanna order any and then find they dont fit. I actually want to get a set of rears for the capri and a set for the falcon. The falcon has 15x7.5" and the capri 15x7 ..soo I'm hoping 235s will fit. kyteler
235's will fit piece of piss man. I have some 215's on 6" rims and they don't look vaguely out of place or buldging or anything.

fuel
Are you wanting to retain the same overall rolling diameter as your original wheels, to keep the speedo correct and make the engine work less? If so, a 225/50 R15 is going to be alot smaller in overall diameter than say a 265/50 R15. The 50 refers to aspect ratio, ie 50% of the 225 or 265. It's not a set profile. Check out http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html and enter your original wheel size, and find direct alternatives in other wheel sizes.
