RT
Yep just had it done. $130, $30 Cert, $10 I.D. plate, $10 LPG, and I needed some rubber for the tanks so $13 for the rubber and $55 labour. Total: $132. + and LPG WOF after that which was $40 $172. So it could be around $105 if you don't need anything done like the rubber etc. Or it could be more if your system is bung. + These are CHCH prices. Much cheaper than Aucks. dmulally
Replying to this to prove I have at least tried to search. Does anybody know where you can get your LPG tanks recertified? I'm looking around Wellington. I rang a couple of gas places in Masterton but they either didn't care or my aussie accent is too strong for them to know what I'm banging on about. Valiant
Try a garage that does LPG wof. They should be able to point you in the right direction.

I take my portable bottles to this place, not sure if they do car ones though Porirua Cylinder Testing Lab (pctl.co.nz)

I tried that and the one they gave me shut down in covid lockdowns sadly. I'll try the place @Nominal suggested and hopefully they can steer me in the right direction. This 25l/100 chev at around $3 is killing me.
dmulally
They sure do. $266 per single tank. Now to figure out when the hell I'll be floating over by Porirua some time.
