i hate honda's but i reakin it would be fairly quick, light weight and a 135hp+ engine. Cant i get some sort of adaptors or somthing for the gear box so it fits perfectly other than the s2000 would praobly b worth more than 4 of my cars? and ant they 6 speed?

Yea, itd be quick and all, but its still a Honda engine in an Escort :?

:lol: I agree and would never put a honda or any other make of engine really in my car but it's still a good engine and would be wicked in a caterham or westfield or something similar

im sure sincec i got the engine 4 free it would be a good experiment wouldnt it? all i need now is gearbox engine mounts exhaust gearbox adaptors and diff right? oh and cert..."cough"

nah thats i wanna ask u guys what gear box will fit so i can convert it safely to a rwd? can i get a gearbox adaptor or somthing so it can fit any rwd box?

S2000 box would be your best, and probably most expensive bet.

I say sell the engine you get given and buy something, anything better and easyer. Should be able to get enough for a 4AGE or something.

All I have heard is that honda engines, such as those, spin the oppoiste way or something, giving this 5 reverse gears and 1 fowards gear. I have no idea how much bullshit that is or what not, but it sounds funny and I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

No lots of engines fire in all different orders...

I have heard that they spin backwards eo... but it could well have been from zep .... so i don't know.. wouldn't be suprised though.. i think they do
