  11. So a 3 piece rim make up it inner barrel, centre, outer barrel. The centre does not move as its bolted to the hub etc, but CAN be moved with new barrels either side to what ever offset you see fit.
  12. Look whats in the bay Pretty stoked to finally get this thing fitted, its snug as hell but looks good. X-Flow out Gearbox lines up with the hole, will need to cut the original mounts out of the tunnel to get it to fit but looks like it will be tight. Might have to change the tail housing to one from the courier box as its flatter. Ready to go... Cheers to Chris aka Low N Slow for the mounts, wiring and Link, and the adjustable cam gears. Will further fit the gearbox and clean up the engine bay more when im back home, things are looking up!
  13. Not too much has been happening with the old girl lately. Shes currently being driving daily by the Mrs residing in Wellington while im down in Chch. Popped its head gasket last December which was an easy fix and has been reasonably trouble free apart from the started motor crapping out, most of the rust has been done aswell.
  14. Hi Clint What are the dos and donts regarding mounting a fuel tank in the boot? Im mounting a capri boot tank in to my escort with the battery in the left hand well and fuel pump setup in the right hand well, will i run into any cert problems? Im also giving the suspension an overhaul. My engineer was going to get my coilovers crack tested and xrayed but the testing facility said I needed proof of certification before going a head with the tests? Im also wanting to install anti tramp rods and a panhard rod to the rear diff, what are the main cert requirements for when i install said bits? Cheers
  15. Yeah they are man! Was way to busy, forgot, got busy again, got injured from rugby..... Now ive got a good savings for the escort its time to get my A into G

  19. SO thats what the weird bit on the side of the gearbox is for? Wonder if machining it off will be a goer if iot fouls on the tunnel

  21. Cheers Alex I do love the idea of MS, Im in chch and my escort is at home in Palmy so Link may be the goer Yeah i had a look at it and it was waaay over my head
  22. True with the Link, just that price is steep and i dont see what say a link atom can do over the MS Enlighten me....
  23. Indeed, havent got it running yet so should be interesting. So i shouldnt have any problems running a CAS and say a hall effect sensor? Provided they sync? Use with Ford EDIS? Might have to re-look at the whole sequential, might be semi sequential ordeal or what ever it wants to run on... Why Link over megasquirt out of curiosity? Again how is the megasquirt Alpha-N Tune compared to Link Alpha-N tune? (For 4age 43mm itb's?)
  24. Hey guys Im looking at ECU's for my FE3. Ive been offered a Link G1 V5 with loom but have also been looking at a Megasquirt 2.2 with a 3.0 board. Bearing in mind i would like to run sequential injection, the engine will run CAS, I have 4age ITB's on, Will be upgrading the cams to 272ish later on So to some questions Can i run bot CAS and trigger? And what benefit will it make? What runs a better alpha N code to run nice? How does the Megasquirt fuelling control compare with the Link? Cheers
