  1. It usually depends on how busy they are but mine have only taken ~2 weeks so far. 6 weeks seems an awfully long wait.
  2. So it seems kurts attempt at coupe lyfe has failed as this thing has fallen into my hands and I'm going attempt to finish Kurts attempt. He sold it to me with pretty much all the hard stuff done which is verrry nice! It arrived to my house on thursday night looking like this straight off the truck, highly recommend Brent at Classic towing, he is a dream to deal with and at a very good price too! much better than any other company i have had to deal with before. on friday evening i ripped into things, put the last coilovers in the car, and ofcousre slammed it. need shorter springs for the rear coils as it sits wayyy too high and i still have a bit of body adjustmet to play with. also had to put the skirts on to see what it would look like..... it looked good. pulled all the seats out as they were all dirty and grabbed some turtle wax upholstery cleaner. Worked way better than expected got all the greese and rust stains out of the seats, still need to finish cleaning up around the headrests. Before: After: Next on the list -put the side skirts on properly -check all the bolts underneath are tight -install driveshaft -instal/mod gearbox x member -mount enginebay stz -rebuild brakes -acquire and install raditior -wire up engine -exhaust -and a shitload of other small jobs.. should easily be done come summertime hopefully...
  3. take your intercooler off and see if its full of oil, a seal in your turbo is probably just gone and leaking oil everywhere. but burning oil is still blue smoke.
  4. black smoke will be it running rich as fuck, maybe on 5 cyls, white smoke pouring out would be turbo. what happened to all these wheels coming from japan?
  5. threaded rod will be fiiiiiinnnne unless you crash it into a wall or something, in our racing karts we use aluminium ones and use they as a bending point in a crash to save damaging more expensive parts. just buy my kz2 and win at life/be the king of grass skids/
  6. i run something like that on my shifter kart (125cc 2 stroke) runs off crank case pressure works good pumps a shit ton of fuel through, make sure you run a return line to the tank inbetween the pump and the carb or your airbox will full with fuel.
  7. Fuck, this is lame this thing was so rad. Gonna build another?
  8. yooooo, i have a flywheel that some faggot/antony will be dragging up for me from chch. any of you guys able to grab it and take it to wellington/drop it in palmerston north on your way home?
  9. i will be travelling up tomorrow night from hamilton Markku, Flick me a facey message.
  10. I'm gonna come to this and meat all you guise
  11. that would be good to know as i have these in my car at the moment!
  12. i can do it seedy/pick up your pedalbox and shaft etc.
  13. nahh g series are heaps larger physically , would need to mod the subframe to make the entire head fit.
  14. ahh cool cheers! that sounds good. I used andy earlier this year for a different car, will give him a call and have a chat with him about it.
  15. hey clint, what are the rule around air bagging a car? I heard you need to run two air compressors? does the car need to be able to be at its lowest setting and still be drivable? (eg not foul on guard/tire/chassis) Cheers.
  16. this car is being parted out.. offaz
  17. retrim the whole thing kurt. ps - I'll make your hole biger
  18. gtr itb's cheaper than 4age, same size as blacktop but they are round and not the weird triangle shape that would be hard to make a manifold for, and a much better looking unit than the 4age ones. I have a set on their way to me for my sr20de, all you really need is to make a manifold up, injectors of your choice, and a link. one of the struggles of itb's is getting enough vaccume to make your brake booster work properly so you may just have to run unboosted brakes, you might have to do this anyway if the itb/velocity stack is going to hit the brake master
  19. you sir, are a massive cock tease. I need pics of this thing!
  20. this is tonight peeps! 6:00 i guess we will meet around drovers somewhere, hopefully there should be enough parks in 1 spot so we can all park together
  21. nothing is set in stone but 23rd of april? Also what time suits people? thinking a bit eariler? maybe say 6pm or 6:30pm?
  22. need to build a new exhaust for my daily will most likely see abit of track, comfort has gone out the window so not too bothered about noise, s14 with a sr20de basically standard but have some 264° cams ordered for it. from what i have read bigger is better? was thinking of doing 2.5" or 2.25 from headers back? my next question is muffler placement, i know it changes the tone where you put it but i only really have room right at the back? my current setup is just a 2.25" system maybe? with a yucky fart cannon that sounds terrible wanting to improve tone and quiten it down a bit, Thanks in advance
  23. Ill have a look at work tomorrow for you mark. we should have something floating around.
  24. thursday next week sound alright to people? i need some number so i can ring them and warn them we have a group coming etc.
