  1. Long time no update. Been using this as a semi daily car and its been racking up the miles. Has only been off the road once in the last two years as I broke the throttle cable. Big thanks to Bantam and punkoutnz for supplying cables and Jeffery at Precision Engineering and my old man for making a cable end thingy-ma-bob. I have been pretty useless at fixing its various issues, alas today I have finally lowered the rear of the car. This modification both reduces the eye strain due to unaesthetic ride height and aids fuel consumption as 40l of water is not needed to make it low. I should really get this sister of mine to take pictures in the future.
  2. Been hearing about this for years but never got around to going. Get your vintage car racing and tweed fix. We also have a OS member in the racing too.
  3. Saw that at Kumeu. I tried to get the seller to put it up for sale here. Glad it was sold to someone on here in the end. Loving the rare fasten seat belts and air temp gauges. What's the plan for it?
  4. Afraid I wont be able to make it. sadface.jpg Someone fill in for me by arriving 10min late and ordering donburi, thanks.
  5. Possibly you could mould some ducts into the splitter for the oil cooler Like so: or slant it What is the grill you have? It looks different. Maybe my eyes. Liking it so far dude
  6. Of all the weekends... Looks like 2016 for me.
  7. Money wired to George Agdgdgwngo. Let me know if you need a hand with the making of it.
  8. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you have a genuine Katayama R100 and you are restoring it to a road car? Or was it ever raced?
  9. This event would have been pretty damn average without the masses who took time to come to the cruise and slave over their rides to make it. I think the look on Rod's face when the cars all parked up was pretty neat. Great to meet so many new and old members who came along.
  10. Holy hell! Almost 40 entries. Super excited to see these sweet rides.
  11. No need for him to fill out a separate form. Just PM a name so I have a roster.
  12. What's the PCD on these? I have some 6" Lotus steels you can try if you want.
  13. Currently my favorite project on here. Gonna watch this intently. I purchased a 1600cc block of Trademe from a guy who claimed it would most likely run. After removing the head it was in a similar state to this full of water but with early combustion chamber heads. Needless to say, we are still proceeding with the rebuild using the same block. Keep the update flowing!
  14. Hey Alex Great to see you on here. Convince your old man to get a Mini supercharger for it. Karl Build- //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/45606-lutons-1968-triumph-herald-1360/

  16. Nope sorry buddy. The route is here: https://goo.gl/maps/jvHHC
  17. Ok, votes tallied. The cruise route is as follows: Meet up time is the same as the before (8am) Pitstops: BP - Autobahn Cafe Kopu industrial area (just after bridge) Tairua
  18. Excessive engine vibrations?? Surprised that the Nissans still have the powersteering issue they had earlier in the year.
  19. Yep, face muscles from grinning with a group of GC's and at weird old cars.
  20. Cheers for the heads up. We will atempt to avoid the race. This I like. I need the deets on your rear springs, blocked or reshaped to get the low? Sure thing. This will be a regroup point as per last time. Just after the two lane bridge in the industrial sector Unfortunately too late man. To get a weekend when there is nothing happening at Leadfoot is quite a rareity.
  21. If this is the BP I'm thinking it is, it is only accessible going South. Ok ill put it too the vote. And end the vote Friday the 17th allowing for peeps to get plans sorted.
