-
sorry i didnt make it,was a slack arse and didnt put the open diff back into the sport in time :/ .anyway, did anyone see any a32 cefiros at PaP??need to raid one for all the interior trim clips etc etc as im too tight to buy them new
-
lmao, what colour is it normally?? and mine was originally an auto,i converted it to manual using a 94 wrx box that had the rwd conversion already.will be on motor #3 when i sawp them over :/
-
they do,ive bolted GTB coils into GT motors and vice versa.so shizzl,i got a couple of covers up here if you want them
-
your gtb isnt green is it???
-
got that right, lmao.and nope,26 with a goatee about 5 inches long, lmao. and im not copying,MY gtb is rear wheel drive
-
this the spirit you dont happen to have a mk2 bonnet spare at the moment??dont give a crap if its rusty or anything, just want one to shove over the panelvans engine bay so it can sit outside under a tarp for a while
-
ive got a couple of subi motors lying around,do you know if GT rocker/cam covers will fit a GTB motor??this is slightly odd though as we both own cortinas and GTBs,lmao
-
hey Cletus, quick question as i can never get a definite answer down here bolt on flares:cert job or not?? and does it matter wether they remain just bolted or does smoothing them into body change the definition of them??
-
what old man Ky said, theyre nice but the steelys are better PS:when are we going to see the 13x9s on the bum of this??and update on the green beasty
-
i used brass adaptors to fit it into the factory hole on mine, hence it probably never worked.however i found a bung in the side of the block im going to try in the sport.will fit it tomorrow and report back
-
success, instantly picked up the hot water.must have had something blocking the water in my cortina from touching the bulb
-
am about to do said hot water trick .and its all 100% mechanical, only wires on the rear are for the light.will report back soon if it works in the hot water
-
bought a mechanical type water temp gauge a while ago for my cortina, now contemplating swapping it into the sport.when i had it hooked up in mine though it never worked.so what i want to know,is there any special tricks to running a mech H2O gauge??it was brand new when i installed it in my cortina
-
shvaaaaaaaaagen waaaaaaaaaagen??wunderbar!!! looks like a good projest seediest of Al's,1 question though:can it be slammed lower than the crown wag??lol
-
i suspect its the shape of the metal behind the heater box(think 1/4 pipe vert ramp for skateboarding),water runs straight down it,hits curve and gets fired straight under the heaterbox to where the gaskets are
-
check foam gaskets under the heaterbox in engine bay, thats where the sport leaks water in
-
i have a pair of 13x6 spitties that are a very similar offset to my modgies with BFG radial T/As on them in 195/60 13 sizing.can put 4 people in the sport which sits it on bumpstops(joys of compressies ) and they dont rub.admittedly i did have to roll the lip up to do so but the sidewall sits nice n flush with the guard lip .i would get a pic but its currently on axlestands after i popped an axle in the locked diff PS:hit to the head would have induced i few expletives i suspect??
-
have you started stocking up on valve springs yet?? looks like a good purchase though PS:TRIDENTS
-
+1 for straight rear, angled looks wacky against the deck boss
-
that was indeed me,however it was my other cortina(the sport).and you would have noticed it only did a one wheeler??its actually got a locked diff(out of this cortina),but i snapped the drivers axle as soon as i dumped the clutch at the start .the motor out of this one is going into the sport soon as this one will be getting a new motor built
-
hes onto it .personally id go everything in bay black except obviously the sheet metal, and just have small silver highlights(hose clamps, bolts etc)
-
im voting sunday the 5th,but in my case its subject to the fun topic of finances .i should be there though, will have to bring the cortina as a bluebird would look out of place, lmao
-
any wiring gives me a headache
