Got this thing home on the weekend and put it back together and cleaned out the sanding dust, it still needs more but that'll come. Took it to work today and got it a WOF, so now it's all legal beagle ready for summer. The bonnet still isn't straight, hence the primer but hopefully that'll get done this week! The interior is much like the rest of the car, tidy but not perfect.

That's great if you have a Japanese assembled Hilux that you are pulling it from, but NZ ones have a different chassis code system

The good thing I found with the basecoat clearcoat is that you can fix runs super easy. I have no experience with 2k colour, so everything i'm saying about it has come from the panel beater, all I know is that I am stoked with how my car came out.

I dare say you would be fine using a 2mm smaller rotor, if you check it regularly and don't let the wear get bad you would probably stay within the oem piston extension limits.
