  1. well i like to see you finish this by years end, and i promise to have my car done as well
  2. were you racing your self in race 3 there markku ,as it took about 7min before you caught them up
  3. im using bilstein and got them made to suit rally suspension as the old race 1s were to hard .the back will lift if the shocks are shit ,im up to 27mm on the front adjustable sway bar and up to the max for adjustment .your car and mine should be similar in length and weight ,i still use std rubber bushes in the back from ra60 celicas and on the front.. nolathane bushes in the front lower arms etc.. my spring rates are 220 on the back and 350 on the front and im using spring rubbers which are cut in half and add 15 lbs when pushed into the springs for around the island the rear sway only is a std toyota 12mm sway bar .my 4 links are std as we cant adjust but can do things in other ways like my new cambered rear end
  4. if your car is hard under brakes and the back is lifting 1st what shockers are you using and how thick is your front sway bar and what spring rates do you have on the front in lbs please
  5. see how you go with that on the std motor was using 365 and 750 cc

  8. my ,motec has a test advance screen in the ign set up ,so not to sure on the link and 26 is the most ign im running on the std black top
  9. so you are going 2 stage .ok 1st you might have to check your fuel pressure and lift it up to 75lbs and make sure it doesnt drop off .so good quality fuel reg. next set the inboards for idle and power and tune these for up to 50% throttle then from 3500 rpm after 50% start blending in the outboards all the way through using your 2 fuel tables at 100% throttle have the inboards 5% and out boards 95% and last im hoping your ecu has 8 injector drivers also dave whats your ign test advance as mine is 15 and we are using 26 ign timming for a std motor
  10. ok in these pics you should be able to see 2 rear demister switches ,as the new front screen will have demister wires built in. so im wiring these in and setting the wires up. battery is going to go on the drivers side front so dry sump tank ,when it arrives will go on passenger front
  11. ok have been doing the std car wiring before i do the motec loom etc pics for up dates
  12. dave was just looking at your graph. cant you advance the cam up to 45 %at all from 1600 revs then have a look at 6000 and start to retard the cam back and leave it on at about 4% when you get to red line the 12% looks good but you really need a dyno to plot the very best runs and smooth it out from zero throttle up to 100%throttle
  13. spray some wd40 on the joins that will get them apart with a rubber mallet
  14. on the merge collector ,re the extractors are you going to use springs there for a slip joint and also further down i use a flexy joint ,or it will break some where
  15. what we did in the group c days was use rose joint arms along side the std arms they were only used on the top 1s from memory .peter williamson was doing this ,all he did was make the bolts longer
  16. just save up for a good link dave
  17. THOSE CIVICS WEIGH IN THE 750 KILOS
  18. as far as i know there wasnt any anti theft ,or needed dash or key to make the std ecu work .the biggest problem thou was the traction and brake set up ,that has 2 tps set ups ps should change it 2 star-tezza
  19. is it the 308 V8 at all or the 350 model sorry if i put it in the wrong spot
  20. on this topic with all honda motors that are in the 2 litre range so no 2.4litre . over the ditch we find in club car racing that the hondas dont seem to make as much torque as the nissan ve series sr20 or the 3sge beams . we did a dyno day a few years ago with my race beams, a std s2000 and a std altezza. the s2000 made 136 to 140 kws 3 dyno runs, honda ran to redline same with the others . the altezza went from 115 to 120 kws, and mine made 185 to 190 kws . but the torque from the altezza over the honda was impressive .the honda caught the 3sge up high as the 3sge was going off mine doesnt pass the std motor until 5000 rpm then stays flat untill 8000 rpm where it starts to drop off . have also dynoed a std beams with my quads and inlet and 2 stage injection with the trd pipes and came out with 156kws at 7600 rpm. so to make power just to 156 quads and 2 stage and pipes it cost me 4500 plus out board injectors and ecu my race motor to get to that figure of 190 kws takes more work and money .close to 20 grand
  21. i like the greek mercedes ,well thats what we use to call them as mostly greek people over here drove them .but they wernt to keen on the chargers thou
