Velly interesting. Could make sense as at medium high revs my misfire happens which could be the capasitior/condenser not holding its charge and arks are flying around all over the show. So i neeed the next size up ...... Or down?

im sure answer are on google but like you say some on here will have played and around with them and know what 1 works best. im sure the condenser would play a part in the dwell of the coil/charge/ignition. i spoke to Murray at Weber specs because i need a tune and also mentioned i have a misfire shittyness at about 4000rpm and he said replace condenser first then coil. so should it be the condenser causing my misfire, is there a better rated 1 to a modified motor, if a standard motor revs to say 5-6000 and a worked motor revs to 7-8000 surely there needs to be a change in the spark creating side of the ignition.

hey all. ive recently installed accuspark electronic dizzy in my esky, and its shit itself i followed the instructions( sparky by trade so know my way around a multi meter) any way i whipped it out today cos i couldnt get a spark. gapped my trusty old lucas and whipped it back in, got it timed @ 10-11deg on the markings. all goess well its idling ok. bit to lumpy. heres the drama i rev it when warm up to 4000ish, and it looses all power and dies. jump it again and head home now when it gets to 3500-4000 revs it coughs and tries to die. obviously momentum keeping it running. any clues? its a 1600 xflow, blue printed, twin dellorto's

Hey peeps and creeps. Guna gets me 1 of those electronic dizzys of tards me. Motor is a 1600 xflow ballanced/blueprinted gt head. Twins dellortos. Would i be better of with vaccum advance or non advance. I dnt really get what the benefit is. Ta Is there 1 make that is better than the other? Dont want to go to down the squirt or link road
