can some one please tell me do i need window washers on a 79 corolla for a wof coz when it was painted the holes for them got filled so theres no trace of them any were i do plan on fitting a nice chrome on on the bonnet when im game enough to drill a hole in the new paint also is a custom made dash going to be any issue come wof time?

so im in a mad panic trying to get this sr done in time for nats ive been on a good roll up to this point i opened the box with all the wire loom for the whole car front to rear ive worked out what part goes roughly were engine bay part under dash part and to rear loom now ive found a heap of cut wires in the engine bay loom and under dash loom i would like to tidy this all up but i need to know what the wires are for so i can fix the ones i need and remove the ones i don't need so im hoping someone knows of a link for online book to wire up the car

We could squeeze someone into viva between blenheim and picton. i should have room in my car but i wont really know till i know what car im taking and how much car parts i need to fit to drop off up there

just to add to this idea if you need some were safe to leave ya car can park it up the back of my house in blenheim then im sure there will be some way to get ya to picton

have you had the drive shaft out? changed ya wheels? what sort of angle are the axles on?

yea i used saw dust to soak it up when it happend i'll try some thinners on it once the weather comes right again hopfully mother nature removes some of it

its rough old concrete if i had money i would smash it up and re-do with new so it was level and smooth for now would just like to clean it the main issue is my 15 month old runs round on it and ends up black on his cloths then the yelling starts lol

as the title says had a old man moment and forgot to drain the oil from gearbox before pullin the axles out end result was bout 3ltrs of oil on the drive leaving a good stain ive got a work area were i can spill oil on but its got a work in progress car there so i was working in the drive the other half is now REALLY pissed off ive tried to scrub it away with degresser and water just thined it out and made it bigger there must be a pro trick to remove it mods if this is the wrong section please move to were it should be

^^^^ what he said just give them a good clean in most cases you can see some impact stress marks in the alloy a spin on a balance machine will show if there tru and round still if there not then i would be worried

The shifter has a big plastic nut that screws into the top of the box, you need to bend up the locking tabs around it then just undo it and the shifter lifts out. Don't cross thread it when putting it back in or it will likely develop the amusing habit of popping out of the box when you change gear lol /\ fancy aftermarket short shift, but gives you an idea of the tabs etc. SWEET

if i come into some money it sure will be the issue is fuel it uses due to poor gear ratio 100km is just over 4000rpm = alot of fuel use options are 1978 ke35 - main choice 1979 ke30 1979 mk2 esky - at this stage backup 1979 eb3 civic 1955 ford ranchwagon otherwise its new school jap which is not a option and anyone that wants to come to blenheim a bit early or night before i have parking space and tent space between cars thats if ya not all at alexs olds (which is just around the corner)

chip/ retune the factory one or aftermarket ecu in saying that it will run on a stock ecu will just lean out on boost

this dosn't answer ya question but ke70 rails do not fit a ke30 or 35/36 or 20/25/26 they all seem to be the same width and same style of mounting just the distance between front and rear hole is different if kp rails don't match ke70 im keen to know if they fit ke35

fuel guage is all fixed found 1 wire had a lil nibble out of it
