Just dropped off some Vg steels to Halcrow engineering for 2" bands WooHOo! Also have uncovered some butchery, there is a false floor barely tacked and mostly gooed in over the origional floor pan which going to be replaced, seems weird someone would go to all the effort to fix it/ cover it up like that when fixing it properly wouldn't have taken alot more effort! also some fun time rust in sill left side and inside a piller . just saw this thread, nice work man, wheels looking good, just a question how much were 7" rims? ive some 5 x 4" vg wheels im going to get banded 1 day (to fit over discs without spacers) but just interested to see what new rims are in comparison ?

yea i have dash vents too , just not holes for factory switches

i have factory heater and controls i've been piecing together for ages,missing 1 of the factory control but have ones for fan speed ( made a resistor pack cant remember ohms but 2 parallel for half juice or all juice ) and air flow direction(feet or dash ). haven't fitted it yet cause its hard to want drill holes in my dash ... kinda have to drill pilot hole in the support from the back before hole sawing 2 x 1 1/4" holes in the dash in the right spot...should really take it out.probably wont.. If i was to do again and couldn't find factory bits id go to pic a part and get a what ever one , build a steel box around it with 2 ports and use vacuum cleaner hoses from the tip shop straight up to dash vents with on/off controls and be done with it ... another thing im not super excited about having 2 massive hoses from one side of engine bay to other, might have to hard line it real sneaky like..

have been busy lately on wag , leaded up leaky radiator . alternator packed in so rebuilt it , was full of oil when i got it apart and turns out its the catch can for breather/ alternator fan sucks all oil vapor threw. didnt want this to happen again and also didnt want to fuck with the look of oil cap so here is what i did will put brass 3/8 bap - 1/2 " hose tail in and make a catch can out of a stainless drink bottle i have laying around at work

seems there is some interest around a cruse , and this weekend seems like as good as any/nothing else on this weekend. whos keen maybe we should take advantage of the large coastal route avalilable and do the full brooklyn to eastborne drive around the coast?
