  1. I hear people winging about how cold it is here in hamilton... If i wasn't down with manflu (i blame invers) then i'd probably be outside in shorts, jandles and a T. Its tropical island spec compared to down there with you lot!!! unfortunately i think i may have to come back in a few weeks hahahahahhahaa
  2. atleast with one sock you can keep your willy warm.
  3. HAve been to the kiln twice since landing here Thats my second fav place. First night i got one of their steaks that was on special... added prawns etc.. YUM. Second night there got an entree of pork belly and then another entreee of muscles in chilli and coconut sauce.. that was very good too. And monteiths apple cider is amazeballs.
  4. http://goo.gl/maps/BASa Went in for a cray... then decided we didn't want to spend that much so sat down to dinner in the resterant instead. Can't say it was the best meal we have had and we found the staff there kinda pushy and difficult to deal with. My workmate nearly lost his temper with the man there - we'd only had the menu for about a minute (not kidding) before he started pushing for a decision. Went to lonestar last night. God i love that place! Drank too much too quickly and had a good attempt at a large plate of ribs... couldn't quite finish the spuds at the bottom but blame the garlic bread that we had first! I'm so dam homestick!
  5. Surely the producer of this equipment is able to offer some advice?
  6. 12mm...... and then i cut it in half as didn't want the bend. Hot chick at NZ courrrrRRriers depot. $330 in freight to send a few parrrRRRrts back to Hamilton made the allen key feel like a barrrRRrrrrgain.
  7. oh OK. That was my first guess but really have no idea when it comes to electrical stuff! I work for AMS. Not sure if we are sending a team to Edendale this year. We'll have to try track down these tanks if we get time. Hayes is a bit more expensive than usual isn't it?! Spent 30$ on a single allen key there today!!!!!!
  8. yeah.. we were blown away by how windy it is there at the factory....... ahhaha, whats a sub?
  9. I am at the moment.. for around 12 days or so. probably be gone before next fri. I'm servicing a 710kw MVR fan, a homogeniser, sifter bed and a bunch of rotary valves.
  10. chuuur.... may gt cray for din tomorrow then. not yumyums is it? gym looks like a SNAPON shop at first glance
  11. I'm about to spend night 6 here in invers- still working at OCD. Is it always this miserable here, holy crap. There are MANY oldschool american cars here driving around compared to up north.. very cool! Your Hammer Hardware is quite possibly the best tool store in NZ. It was a total buz seeing all Munroes stuff in there! I bought a pair of C-clip pliers, got back to work and realised that i already had an identical pair in my tool box under some other shit... DOH The Kiln is a pretty sweet joint with great service and some very lovely waiters.........may go back a 3rd time soon. Who can recommend a good fish and chip shop here? -Nathan
  12. just make everything out of steam pipe bends
  13. what was disappointing about it? cheers for the link
  14. I've got some bike parts that i would like to get dipped/stripped and then anodized gold (yellow/orange). Does anyone know of a reliable source for this in the waikato and know roughly what it costs?
  15. I'm in invers at the moment and for the next 8 or so nights. Went for a walk in town about 5.30.. My workmate exclaimed " I think my testes just popped round into my asshole" He was trying to tell me he was cold i think. Got some very nice oysters and a filling meal at the HMS KINGS seafood restaurant.. the oysters down this way are very different to all others ive had! Tomorrow night it will be the irish pub! hahahahaha, oh and we went into heathcotes electrical (i think) and wanted to buy a cheap radio....ended up asking the sales person for directions to the warehouse! hahahah
  16. OH ok.... so there is no port timing to think of at all in relation to the crank? The only one ive ever had in bits before was a model airplane engine so i'm learning.
  17. Wont the cranks port timing be out? (assuming these have the hollow crank with the hole in it that opens/closes under the carb)
  18. Awesome. Thanks for the link. I actually just bought an allcity crank set off them via TM and paid just $75 vs their websites $150. Love those cecil pedals. and their inverted brake levers..
  19. cool handlebars. Where did you find those? Also, those brake levers look really far away from the grips?
  20. I used some blue 3m tape the other day and I'm sure that was labled as being low tack and zero residue or something. It sure as hell didn't stick that well... good enough as masking tape but certainly not good enough for anything else.
  21. man i would LOVE an identical stem and handlebars as on that one!!!!! At the mo im using a flipped pair of BMX bars... its requires that i lean a little too far forwards (most people don't realise they are bmx bars though!)
  22. man those handlebars are exactly what i'd like for one of my single speed projects.... You should flip them upside down to give it some race stance. Also, whats it do for brakes? coaster brake?
  23. yeap and he makes some sweet youtube vids. I don't think he has posted a youtube vid for a while now? They are quite good value. Looks like he has made some progress since the last one. very unique project!
  24. that rust is under the glass isn't it? so why do you need to respray? Just repair the rust and seal it then put the glass back over top?
