  3. Surely pickapart will have something that will play a tape?
  4. Yeh got a bit over zelous sorry, thats probably closer to 4 inches/the size of Joes erect penis.
  5. So choice. Makes me realise how much of a muppet I was/still am. Glad that you have thrown the Seedy Al spice mix at it
  6. I used a set like that on the 120y. Easy to install and worked a treat (not that there was anything wrong with the points, but I can see the benifits)
  7. Joe is trying to get me to rep van life at wagnats. But after 5 I think wagnats without a wag, I think I better take the gloria haha
  8. I loled. Yep sleeping space is unimpeded with bikes in place (this was on purpose for when staying in dodgy palces haha)
  9. Oh and the floor benath the bed is nicely lined with mustard green carpet as well (stage bits in the back, and under the lid in the front). Sofa king lush.
  10. Still tinkering. Have lined the front section of the floor with ply (the dinky cover is because the battery is in the floor and the hatch cover is a differnt height to the floor). Also contracted the services of steelies engineering ltd. to build some fork mounts for our bikes. A++ would trade again. Pretty much done now, just need curtains (c'mon mrs beaver)
  11. Most cars Ive had with live rear ends have been offset, and becomes more apaprent when lowered (as things like guard clearance actually matter.) /your mum has a live rear end.
  12. Got new bits yet? repco/supercheap should have the bits/order them in In other news, the rotor on my hunter split and the dizzy shaft was just spinning inside it, so I used a rubber band to keep the split shut and it got me home.
  13. Bring the hunter you dick. If it will make it that far,
  14. This months meet deets //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/54221-wellington-monthly-meet-october-20th-6307pm-plimmerton-beach/
  15. Yay for the daylight saving! This months meet will be the first to make th emost of extended daylight hours (but won't someone think of the cows and the faded curtains!) Plimmerton Beach, just past the Plimmerton Boating Club, opposite 61 Moana Road. Say 630ish onwards (make the most of the sun). Three are a couple of food places in Plimmerton but there can be a lengthy wait and the Fitty Chitty so consider grabbign something on the way out. Discussion and questions is the usual place //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/33331-welly-monthly-meet-3rd-thursday-of-the-month-discussion/page-124 Summer,. Feels good man.
  16. I've found that old cars don't like the Mobil fuel. One of my triumphs would hardly run on it, had to play with the timing to get it to run semi ok. All the gas was fine.
  17. Forward planning, but is there anyone in Palmy would be able to pick up a pull out awning (approx 2.7m long and about 20cm diameter) pending succsessful purchase? Probably needs a wagon, ute or van. Ill either make the trip up in the short term furture or make use of OS freight to get to Wellington. Cheers
  18. If the keep spring is keeping the main spring captive (and becomes upcaptive when you remove the keeper spring) then you really need to keep it. Although you may find that you can pull the keeper spring out, then wind the spring perch up a bit to take up the tension of the main spring, and the car will actually sit lower (as you no longer have the hight of the collapsed keeper spring).
  19. My 2 cents, Even out the ride hieght (drop the front more) Get proper white walls (they look silly when they are haggard) Build a full length roof rack. PS, love this car.
  20. For someone who has just purcahsed a lush car for not much money (which obviously has a number of piners), you sure know how to make it sound like the end of the world. Enjoy it man!
  21. Not too bothered about the heat properties, more about keeping the light out haha
  22. maaaayte, keen as a bean. Is the thermal lining attached or is it like a socond layer that sits behind the coloured layer?
  23. Ive made it to work with a normal mattress. I put a lip along the back edge so that you can lift the front up (so the mattress will bend in the middle ) and it wont fall out the back.
