  1. I'm gonna throw a guess between $4.20 and $8,562.98.
  2. I have been dealing with inverters for the past 3 years. If they don't go, they're usually fucked. 9/10 times it's cheaper to replace than repair. also
  3. It's probably buggered. Remove and implement the healing power of a 8lb sledgehammer. Also, tvs belong in houses, not cars.
  4. I am waiting on payday. Payday is later this week Chur
  5. Yeah man, come. The more the merrier I could throw a detour back to yours if needed
  6. By the sounds of it this isn't gonna be a very big turnout. Everyone's buggered off to other cities.
  7. TBH a regulated DC-DC converter will be a better way to go. Things like that won't have the same noise filtering a car unit has, so alternator whine / damage from voltage spikes is likely. Also, are you sure it's DC? I know a lot of units like that run AC input.
  8. Sometimes the piston has an offset gudgeon pin so during the power stroke it is pushing more uniformly down on the conrod and reducing lateral forces on the piston. If you run in reverse, the piston will get mashed into the cylinder wall a lot harder, creating more friction / heat / wear / less power. Rotating piston is generally a good idea if you want the engine to run backwards. Or something like that anyway.
  9. Best way is stationary full load straight off the mark.
  10. It only goes to the carb so it can go somewhere. The hippies aren't too pleased with oil vapor entering the atmo / on the road etc. External container is all good.
  11. That's a shitload of condensation though. Has the engine been sitting for ages?
  12. A 7a ain't gonna rev as high as a 4a, I think ya need to knock at least 500 off your redline. In saying that that is probably based on stock internals which aren't very strong. Cambelt is from a Porsche 924 I think. You will need to make some sort of custom mid piece cambelt cover as the 4a one won't fit, or just run without if you don't have a fear of stones getting caught in the belt. 20v cams would be mildly gay on a 7a as they start hitting their power when the engine is at its redline. I think the bluetops worked best in factory form. If you're building up the bottom end then this won't be as big a deal though.
  13. Yeah, looks like a milkshake. What's your coolant level doing?

    4x800w amp?

60W RMS, 800W Max? Whos arse did they pull those figures from? May be possible for 1/8th of a second if you pump 60+ volts into it.. Yeah, as seen from your own example, don't base an amp on its max power rating, as it's usually bullshit.
  15. Once I get hold of the fullah I'll let ya know
