after ripping a couple of burnouts at the set of lights outside the railway station in wellington CBD, we headed out to O.P just cos its my camera haha we got back to camp, and Danny decided that it was time to stop talking the talk and strike a jesus pose!!! oright so the maiden voyage to Manfeild showed a few things, one dont let this guy ride your hog!..... and two big things for me (not that a didnt know before we left) but needs new carbs and a new clutch did the clutch last week.... Carbs will have to wait till next year, saving money for Xmas/new years, New clutch feels sweet, got heavier springs, but still feels sweet on the lever, so i did a burnout that got alittle out of control haha had to be there with that all in we went out for a ride saturday been, First stop was at the velodrome, say hi to the boys, me and danny decided it was a good idea to have a blat aswel, man the velodrome is bumpy, Danny hit about 90ks and riding like a jockey on a horse, mine wasnt much better, no photos sorry Danny on his chappy next stop was up to the wind turbine in Brookyln, we stopped in to a mates place to get some tie-wire for my bike, went to leave fuck it! cant start my hog, battery (which is shit) goes flat, crash start it, nup nup, fuck fuck fuck, jump start off Dannys hog, nup nup, pull the timing cover off, oils spatted every where, electric clean it up, BAM first pop Thank Fuck! add that to the list of things to sort........lets roll! then on out to Makara beach, mean windy farm roads, sweet ride out there, bumpy on the hardtail out of beer so onto new world thordon

aw right so........ thursday arvo, i was still having tank sealing issues, also noticed the diaphrams on the carbs were completly stuffed, thanks to Danny and the boys they crafted some magic and repaired the holes, we then rigged a syringe as a tank but only heald enough gas to up one street run to do a plug chop, chop seems like it was ok, lets see what the tank does tomorrow once the JB weld dries Friday morning i get a txt from Danny "your tanks still leaking dickhead!", i get to the workshop, dannys speant many an hour trying to poo the crap out of the tank with JB weld and need-it, 5 oclock tank on first test with petrol, still sepping out! fuck it, fire it up, LETS ROLL! fridays weather was the shit! we get to Aidens place in Tehoro.......on the chop so later that night, and a few drinks aswel, we thought it was probly a good idea to go for a midnight blat to the beach the plain went swimmingly untill this guy...... ....over shot a corner then tryed to play catch up and failed to take a corner on Dannys very custom GSX750 any way the showed had to go on, and the weather was sweet Aiden 140 something-a-rather cc C50 cub, nearly 20 odd horse power!!! ride was super sweet to manfeild, prefect weather!

yeah all got back good, long day, pretty hammered by the time i got home. was super sweet tho ive got some kick arse photos, Yes i did get some of sweet camp setup shots but yeah russels got my camera, so will head up to his and up load those tomorrow, hard tails sweet on the open road, tall low PSI firestone rear tire is the key haha, big bumps buck you out of the saddle, which in a corner is all good fun, but yeah i can rock it one handed at motorway speeds no worries, arse didnt get raped any worse than it normal would have on a long bike trip on anything else,

Cheers guys ^^^ yeah, was thinking about riding it to nats ay, cheaper for the ferry. got it turned over lastnight, no carbs just spraying engine start down the intakes, made some baffles, but will need alittle more work, way to loud as is im cleaning the carbs today, drilled out the main jets lastnight for running pods, just picked up new front brake line, and inline fuel tap, tank is still drying b4 i can put fuel init, so gona rig a tank for the mean time, so i can do so sort of testing before the week end cut and rewelded the side stand now stand with out threating to fall over Fingers crossed i can take it for alittle hoon tonight

Right so its be awhile, but havent stopped doing shit, God dam DX shat its self up at Russels and for 2 days i couldnt get it started, thanks to KK tryed an new condensor, (last one was less than 2 months old) and BAM started first pop, that took up 3 nights of fucking around to sort that GGGHHHHH lucky Russel aka low and slow let me use his spare Pajero so anyways....im trying to have this ridable by this weekend coming! Battery Box, cut down ammo case fuse box under the seat me ahh thats better Danny is done, has already done a burnout onto my bike, was/is having some tuning issues, but pretty much all sorted, thi was a temperey fuel tank so thats it for now, fingers crossed this weekend ill be riding up to manfeild with the boys, group of about 5 - 7 of us going so if your there come have a look, will be sleeping at the track

oright picture time finally motor out for final welding seat and springs so that was all last week getting frame ready for paint which thanks to Danny we got that and the wheels done on thurday night, then i went up to Hawkes Boes Mk5 and got back for that to find the bike like this guys had put the motor forks and wheels on! then last night thanks agian to Danny/Heyhole Mum, lowered the forks Dannys bike is 96% completed but still just dailing it all in thats it for now
