  1. Oh, did you guys think I was being serious? LOLs
  2. Cage is between wheels, so no, not really.
  3. In all seriousness, this would go well with a silver or black top 4A-GE in it. How far do you really want to go? Are you dead set on going turbo? Are you planning on doing the conversion yourself or paying someone to do it? What is the intended use of the vehicle? It's probably best that you sit down and decide what you want from the car before making a decision on what engine to use.
  4. It's due to the fact all the panels in the front are aluminium, and there's bugger all metal in front of the firewall excluding the motor. The engines are mounted far back in the engine bay and the gearbox is between the front seats pretty much. The rear body has a shitload of steel in it, along with a heavy subframe, and they have a big rear overhang compared to the front. Rear hatch is also damn heavy, with the bonnet weighing next to nothing.
  5. From factory these are damn near 50/50 weight distribution. With all the shit he's removed from the front end of it I wouldn't be suprised it he's rear heavy currently. Talking shit is my forte.
  6. FDs are around the 1280kg mark from factory, some of the light weight editions were 1180kg. I don't think it would be hard to get one under the 1100kg mark if you had the $$ to do it. If you could make a carbon fiber tub for them they would hit sub 1000kg / day dreaming.
  7. Needs a non drop rear end conversion. Make it happen.
  8. Best bit of Nedding around I've seen in a long while.
  9. While the wiring wouldn't weigh much I assume you'd make this removable so you could keep weight down while on the track?
  10. Then getting it road legal? I suppose this is pointless if you're going to pull it down in the off season though.
  11. What's the cost for making it go through the fire wall to the strut towers?
  12. Cheapest option is an import block. After what happened to mine, and the things I've elarned along the way: Leave it stock unless you have 10s of thousands of dollars to throw away.
  13. Well that sucks. How do you know you need new housings? Rip the thing out, pull it down and diagnose from there. It may not be all that bad.
  14. Yea, it must be something simple, engines only cut out when starved from fuel &/or spark. Hit a bump and the plug fall out of the ignitor maybe?
  15. LOLs, so it was the plugs. And now this. If you've spat an Apex seal, the car will still run on 1.3 rotors (been there, done that.) Does this thing still have the factory cat? Exactly what were you doing when it cut out? Do a compression test but it doesn't sound like the block has given up. I'd be checking fuel, then spark / timing.
  16. This car makes me wet in the panties. Good work UJ, although, I'm somewhat suprised that there are no holes in it.
  17. Coby built the exhaust I have on the FD and did a damn fine job of it. If you're looking at buying a set of extractors, give them a call direct.
  18. Keen on Karts. May even convince Stef to give it a go.
  19. Retune is top of the list. Guards need panel work and it also needs a paint job. New wheels eventually. Just want to enjoy it for now.
  20. Oh yea, this thing got a WOF today. DEM FEELZ
