Bugger went to sign up to Hampton and realised hamner is the same weekend and I already have every thing sussed so no dual sprints now. Bit gutted will have to find another day to get to Hampton now.

Haha yeah the uno gained 1400cc for the hill climb lol. Nah I have switched to the skyline for the rest of the series. They still just posted my times as though I was in the uno as all my entry details were against my uno number. Will have to get them to fix that up. Was good fun though. Still learning the skyline heaps and feel I still have room for improvement. Only really felt like I was getting the hang of it on the last run Haha. Better find some money for Hampton and sign up this week.

who is this? nah the parts are very non interchangeable with the later model face lift. i have tried and they do not work.

Will post some pics when I have made some proper progress. Pretty much just pulled interior out at this stage. Exterior is proving a bastard, no proper fastenings have been used when this was reassembled after its last paint job so getting bits of is proving difficult.

pictureless update but big news. I have started the strip down on this car now. Many pictures are being taken so i can reassemble it all again. Have talked to my panel beater and he is keen as, hes just going to come do it my shed which is sweet, So Nats 2014, lets see if i can do it.

Yeah given the color of the car could pull off straight carbon quite well. Would likely match grille and lip also. Yes it is real carbon. Restored only do legit stuff that's why they are awesome. Do like those black bumpers Brad. Could work well.

I guess I could flag the chrome option all together and just paint them the body color. Would still look better than gaps at the front and back. I don't think chrome vinyl is going to cut it would do the paint option first I think.

I've been battling with the chrome for the front and the back of the skyline for a while now. I have all the bits but they bent to all hell. They are stainless and i have taken them to various people who many are not keen to even touch them after i tell them the likely hood of me finding another set. And coupled with how much work it is going to be to strighten them if its even possible. So i have thought about these from Japan http://www.restored.jp/gc110morl.html Biggest thing is if i get them chromed up or not, as as just carbon fibre it is $600 for the front and back set but if i was to get them chromed in Japan also the price jumps to $2000 for the set. So is any one aware of any where locally who may be able to do such a job? Need ideas here please.
