  1. sc14 is fine thanks plus too expensive to run two at 4 hundred odd each, i want to keep the boost low as well so i can just run the standard ecu, and will also work with the intercooler set up i want to run, not to mention fuel pump etc etc
  2. castlemaine rod shop reckon the standy ecu will run a supercharged set up or with a chipped one will go better, 8.3/1 comp ami gona kill it running 8psi? can you flip an sc14 upside down and run it that way as i want to run it on the drivers side, and is the standy fuel pump going to be enough?
  3. finding the power in a 1256 is like finding a 70 year old nuns clit, surprisingly pleasing quote that you bitches, if you set the tapets on inlet and exhaust at the same setting you do get more boot, came out of a gregory's manual i read and it worked
  4. heater cores are fragile i use the garden hose disconnect it from the engine and flush the gunk out, then drop the thermastat off and flush backwards through the head pumping back through the heater port, radiators i take to the pros note cold water cold engine like hasn't been run since yesterday stz
  5. i ran the stock gemini lines when i ran my g200w was fine, but 5mm for return shud be sweet and then a bit bigger for your main
  6. someone do it brap brap brap ..... wheelstand brap brap brap
  7. viva's have the long gearbox's chevettes have the short ass ones they have a foot difference in length in the lay shaft, so you cannot even swap them over, since she refuses to allow you to lower it, whack some big rubber on the back and away you go taller gearing and a mean gasser stance, ps you will have to remember your speedo will read slower and acceleration will be a lot slower
  8. epic bro want to hear it running must by me a mig soon and catch up with the ute
  9. chevette hubs and disks were a common conversion for the mighty imp, on the back you could either use wobble nuts (gay) or have it remachined to 4x100 ie custom hubs or weld and redrill is the dodge method or just give it to me and get that diamanateee
  10. mmmm gilmours + turbo odd mix will sound pretty interesting on a 4 banger, i like the z's on falcons but would like to see a more os wheel combo for the rolla like widened pursuit steels cos they suit everything or something by ssr

    3 piece rims

i have a few spares boe about 160 of them, they are 30mm in the shank so may be too short but have a look, lock nuts are there too , they're branded 'arrow' and are stainless with 12 point heads on them, just buy a powerbuilt or similar 12point socket to fit 8mm i think, bolts are 8mm also,
  13. Project styles i would love to see a wide bodied 100e 2 door prefect, but i'm a little odd but still thinkin it would be a damn good idea, maybe a warm 1500 on bike carbs and maybe taxi or full race car motif or full blown pommy drag like this with a 289 squashed in it
  14. haha lol is that 125mm or 25mm coz i gained a bit with the 9s ah well cert should cover it
  15. passenger side needs some tweaking as the starter blocks any chance of the zorst going down past the chassis rail, so the tunnel will have some heating in it as the exhaust will loop over the top then drop down below to go between the rails , in tank fuel pump courtesy of the paddock find car, just have to cut the piece out of the old tank weld it into the ute one or make something stainless styles with baffles in shit in it so it dont starve doing helis toying with this idea removable bug catcher styles for skid comps with big butterfly and 3 55mm trumpets and filters mounted internally running links back to the throttle for full working action and a 3 inch intake flared into the back of it to plumb up , removable mind you i ain't cutting the bonnet on this one
  16. impressed bro very fucken impressed, you're the toyota lurker hard! i think brad may want your baby
  17. so bought these for the ute, some jdm styles big dish and mean stretch once i slap some 205/40s on them, assholing the centre caps though an my locker care of detroit came in the mail paddock find! exhaust manifolds drivers side unmodified clears everything stoked
  18. as above would be your best bet SI styles probably, might help is if you have a maz cable and the original ford one so they can do some mating, don't forget to give thems a length either 4" too short would be pretty gay
  19. to stop the bearings being crushed by spring movement why not mount them in a bit of steam tube with a spherical bearing in the eye, leafs are not normally my bag as i run a dodge flipped load spring to quell tramp and promote more hook up or outright complete spin for skids, i know goin slightly softer and adding a decent sway bar tightened it all up brilliantly, it use to cock a leg pulling into the first donut .
  20. its a dirty 700 i have looked at that but calibration of my speedo is what i was worried about, wouldn't electrically calibrating it be easier than mechanically
  21. running an electronic speedo, ok the 3.8 has an electronic speedo sender and my ute is cable stz, is there any one that does kits to keep my standy dash like a little motor that runs off the out the sender gives it to wind the speedo around, or any clever as electronics whizzs that could nut it out, main reason being ute = 4.8 diff commy = 3.0 diff, so huge difference its for towskys and skids predominantly so the lo gearing doesn't bother me
  22. yeah man you can get tints that are shaded blue green red grey brown etc, i say red tints and widened pursuits for the win x10.5
  23. on that pdf file it says wheels over 10" diameter can be widened 76mm, mine are r16 which is well over that original width doesn't play into it other than in the old shit, regardless i will give it a go and ricks a fully qualled fitterwelder so they will be strong
  24. $260 plus freight shit those rims weigh about 20kg each let alone with a band in them, i think i'll have a go with the mates big lathe this weekend, get my other mate to roll us a band each and tig the buggers back together, i promise you officer they are standard like that from the states rofl, plus the band will be on the inside, realistically i have 5 rims i can try it on 4 and if it doesn't work i'll still have one really good standard one lol
