Dual spark have 2 coils, so no.... Blocked fuel filter? Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Checked plug gaps, distributor cap/rotor, lead resistance/continuity, timing (And automatic advance if it has it - the vacuum advance distributors can stick in one position which cause all manner of problems) , air filter, airflow meter. If you're going to replace plugs, only use NGK as the other brands tend to carbon foul very quickly in these engines for some reason. They also do a good oem lead replacement set for less than Nissan Genuine prices. Also, if you change the fuel filter (Should be done yearly on every engine - but never is) run an injector cleaner or 2 through the system with good fuel (95+) and go for a good motorway run. I have to do an italian tune up in the 12 because the head carbons up if I drive around town alot.
  5. Here ya go, some inspiration for doing a blower instead http://www.club-s12.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=17897&hl=
  6. T2 doesn't really have enough puff for an inty (Or much more than about 10psi lol) Personally, I'd prefer to use a larger unit running low pressure at good low temps, instead of having a little t2 whistling away puffing hot air into your engine... That's what will cause detonation + kill your motah Or use Durty's idea
  7. I thought there was an age limit for Autosalon? Or has that changed this year?
  8. Do you play Battlefield 2 as retep130? I swear I saw your name the other day...
  9. R180 LSD + Full rear Subframe? I had my eye on it, though Ben Diggles swooped in and took the win...
  10. CRC = solvents SO that will wash away any oil in your head. Better to chuck some oil down the sparkie holes and turn it over with a bar and socket on the crankshaft pulley.
  11. Yeah, my partners brother is swapping out a DE for a hi-mount t3 boosted DET, giving him a hand/the garage is full. And most of the work on the 12 has been done. I got it as a deregged non-runner and got it running and roadworthy. It is however, on hold for now while I decide what to do next/get the money to do it/get the S13 out of the garage.
  12. When the DET is in the S13 then I can start looking at what is good and what is not. Or, go get your own ha ha

    turboing th 910

Just under 2k is realistic at the moment for a GOOD condition DET setup What is the transmission code on the 'bird box Pies? I'll see what I can find out for ya...
  14. Yep, my Monroes that came on it already are very rattly over bumps... I've got sagged springs in the back, and it's jacked at the front. Mackin... Would go King Springs superlows were it not for the ridiculous negative camber that the trailing arm IRS would inflict upon me, besides prefer to be able to jump it over railway lines/speed humps with out bottoming out lol.
  15. The S12 should receive only NGK sparks, who also make a good oem lead set if you wanna go that far. Also, the gap in the manual (1.1mm) is far too wide IMO, I'd close it down to 1mm or even 0.9mm. Is your Ca20E twin spark per cylinder? It kills the appeal of getting 8 iridiums or platinums, I laughed at my bro when he whinged about paying for 6 for his Skyhawk. Good to hear that she's a legal beagle too
  16. Yeah, should just be a circlip easily enough changed on most turbs I believe.
  17. If it has a ceramic turbine wheel, not much more than factory boost The story goes that if they are overboosted, they fly to bits potentially blowing chunks into your engine.
  18. I said: Thats the nickname of the big bad T28 not the little one
  19. Er, who deleted my post? Congrats on the purchase
  20. 16x12 (yeah, I know), -65, 4x114.3
  21. Mad Kit. Z18ET. Exhaust Extensions. Suspension. Bolt ons. And these: Do it...
  22. Tail skidder Blueturd ftw Probably rocks as is with CA18E? - minus electrical problems anyway
  23. There are also Konig Rewinds that are recent wheels in the same style I believe that the Japanese would have copied Superlites? Also, Minilites are Superlites for Minis I believe so come in smaller sizes and offset to suit Fwd.
