  7. Bout time Bio Now hurry up i wanna see video of 4th gear 910 circles
  8. It does but then you are forced to run the factory air flow metre, as they do no do a map senosred version of the altezze power fc. The biggest issue with uning the beams motor is to do with vibrations of air flow going through the airflow metre casueing it to give out wacked reading resulting in a poor running car Get a adaptronic, autronic or Motec Or stop wasting ya time with a beams and jsut go f20c
  9. I will have some ae86 breaks for sale shortly, then you could use the t3 adaptor rca they used to make, pretty sure gx or ra celica shit might work on the ke30 arms with out needing rca been ages since i worked on a dirty ke thou
  10. Have ordered paint now, Toyota Gun Metal grey that is on all the new prado's might go two tone later one but will start with the gun metal grey to begin with. Best thing to do, if you are going to do this conversion start with a gen 3 or onwards motor as these will run striagh up and down with no mods required. Also the dual VVti head's off the Alteezza's are only worth the effort if you can afford a Motec ecu to make full advantge of the vvti, but apparntly there is an ecu in ozzy called an adaptortronic which alot of ozzy 86 guys are using when converting to beams and they seem to be getting some great results out of them. So any help with fuel pump's advice options, ive got s hsit load of pics but no idea on size chnaging and stuff, any computer geeks wanna help me
  11. Generation 2 3sgte's have the same thing a water collar that goes before the oil filter to provide cooling to the oil, ive jsut ripped it off to help with space for exhuast manifold, but am going to run a mitisbishi pajero oil cooler should do the job and was only 9 bucks from pik a part, the lines and fittings and remount filter mount kit were about 200 but hopefully will help the 3s last
  12. Updates time Motor and box are now in car, took a while to get clucth working correctly but have now learnt a few tricks huge thanks to Brendan from A1 turbos Also have made new plenium with one of those cheap chinese 80mil throttle bodies, bit over kill at moment but will be awsome once the 30/76r is applied Exhuast manifold is all together jsut needs too be final welded. Also waitng on the exhust hosuing of turbo to be machined out then turbo will be back together Have also purchased a bliz blow off valve for wank value and a blitz dual solinid boost controller Link arrived yesterday so will start on wirng in weekend All thats left now is a wiring massive the car is a mess going to re do entire car with minum wiring required, also need to purchase fuel pumps was thinking of a holley red as a lift pump and a boosch 910 as high pressure. Peoples thoughts on holley would be appreachated, I am going for over kill as i have no intentions of ever touching this car again once complete. Also am now trying to decide on colours am still keen on a dark gun metal gray but again thoughts ideas, Massive update with pics after weekend
  13. Latest Updates, Mounted evo cooler upside down, allows for really short intake piping should be very nice and responsive Cut down dizzy with cover Winged and baffled sup with return lines for both turbo and from head
  14. I use the 3sgte oil pick up way bigger then the 2s or 1s one's and even thou woamn deny it size does matter My sump is a hybrid of a 3sgte sump, 2s sump, and a heap of custom work, really needs pictures to explain it best aye will try and take some soon, I'm 100% postive that my motor will last even thou its been mount stright up and down, Spencer Ill try and take some pictures of the water piping and of the cut down dizzy this week for you, ive basically got the motor mounted as far back as it will go in the 85 with out touching the firewall, my plenium is actually from a mates ra23 which was running 3sgte years ago, its been modifyed a far bit now to fit into the 85 will take some pic's of it to. If you guys have any othere questions or want pictures of anything it's prob best to tell me now before motor and box go back into the hole for the final time
  15. Yeah Chris's S12 is still in the work shop shall be pretty damn savage when finshed heheh fj20det with gt 35/40 and 8 injectors with a dirty 30 odd psi of boost shall be fun, it's currently getting a coil over conversion done to rear end Mikeeeeee, yeah was a really hard decsion to pull the 3au, rerally wanted to go down the single cam turbo path with a huge gt42 strapped to the saide of a full forged and balanced 3au yeah baby Was actually the fact that i got the 3s for 400 bucks that sealed the deal
  16. I now hav a 1s or a 2s sump not excally sure what model it is from, but it has factory top baffeling layer unlike one of the rwd s series sumps that came with the motor, i have also added winged a hinged baffles to this as well to try and keep the oil in the centre so that i don't suffer from the usal 3sgte run bearing issues, have also fitted a an oil feed that runs from the exhust side of the head down to one of the wings in the sump. The main reason i went with the gen 2 motor was i got motor, bell and about 4 boxs of 3s realted parts for 400 huck, if i was to start again i would use a gen 4 or gen 5 celdina motor as they have the dual factory oil drains from the head. I will attempt to taake some pictures this weekend of sump The main thing that made me go 3s or 4agte was fact that i know that the 3s can produce massive low end tourque which is what i want. Will also produce simlar power to a 4agte on less boost and once i forge the motor next year and do some head work cams 300+kw is very achivable As for damge for the Lawn Mower Man, will hopefully get a decent enuff quote to be able to replace all the broken windows with lexan, and am going to charge them for a set of fiberglass wide body front gaurds Im suprise moreo people havnt attempted this conversion cause imo the 3sgte is the best 4 cylinder turbo motor to come outta japan bar the fj20det
  17. Long time with out updates, alright the car is now at TTT automotive> Have now remounted engine and gearbox they are sitting 2 centermeters closer to the firewall, could not make the motor any lower thou else sump will be hitting cross member. HAve re routed water piping using a 180b thermohousing on the rear of the motor, have also chnaged the cover on the cut down dizzy. This now means that fire wall will not even hve to be tapped to allow motor to fit in with easy, looks almost factory. Have also scored a evo 6 intercooler and am on look out for a s13 radiator, may end up buying cheap nock off alloy one for extra bling. Have also scored cressdia strust and racs for break upgrade on front, will convert these to coilover as well. Hopefully car should be outta TTT within 1 or 2 months. No for the bad news, while car was sitting out in front of workshop a disgruntled employee for a bussiness further down had a slight bit of anger that needed realsing and decied to smash all of my windows except the winscreen and also place a massive dent in my front gaurd. He also smashed up a cefiro that was gettin caged and a civic that was having a b18c conversion. Luckly his boss has requested we get quote's and he will reinburse us. The employee was arrestted. So Slowly getting there will do another update with pics shortly. If you need any automotive work donw in the auckland area defantly recommend TTT automotive engineering on Captian Springs Rd
  18. Updates, going to fit winged sump, and mount motor further back and bit lower this weekend, also hope to finsh fabing up gearbox x member, them its time to start mounting the 1989 celica gtr radiator ive got and start working on water piping, will have pics on sunday, also bidding on a orgin body kit at moment goal is to have car running again before xmas, then hit the first aviable track day
  19. For oiling issues, i have got another winged and baffled sump made, up was being used on a gen 2 n/a motor so have still got to fit oil drain from turbo, plus a drain from head to the other sump then should be fine for oil issues, mianly jsut wanted to get in in there to see if it fits if it blows up ill just have to hurry up and build a nice forged motor
  20. URL=http://imageshack.us][/url] Saturday was very productive, manged to mount engine in, with box attached, issues gear box needs crossmember modify to work, mite change to non power steering rack as bellhousing sits on power steering lines, also corner of bell housing rests on steering rack, could not fit motor in with cut down dizzy on, so small amount of fire wall massaging will be require, also tappet covers and plenium need to be cut down lower, bit over all very good days wrk
