  2. Got a new stainless rear guard and a plastic inner guard from an old gn250 Ruined them and made this never understood why the seat is bolted on a GN. A pull lever and some storage makes more sense. I think I will be able to keep my wet weather suit in here. It's long enough for my tyre irons Rear guard is in the higher position I was trying out in an earlier post. Might go for a slim enduro type rear light once I smash the original one to bits throwing my leg over
  3. Adventure born and bred mate
  4. Protaper CR high bars and fat adaptors Bit wider and much less pullback. Might be nicer to control on gravel, and hopefully cause me to slouch less on long stretches. Probably going to be tight getting it in the shed now...
  5. Yup, mine does this, sticky Bendix. I cleaned all the smoo out of it and lubed with graphite and she's all gravy
  6. I did underside of Morris all black, and brakes and suspension guy kept saying wow someone’s run new brake lines under there! Did you know! Never seen someone do that!!!! he was a Barry tho, no mention of welds on chassis tho
  7. L200club sport has steel ones and a nub of straight rubber hose at the end for joining
  8. Dakar's in Bolivia now. I rode some of the tracks. Bit bumpy
  9. Just go to new place. No issue (obv you pay the wof fee at the new place)
  10. If you are scrubbing the sidewalls it's a little bit too far
  11. Messing about with a removable seat and under seat storage tray ideas. At full compression the tyre doesn't even go past the frames seat rails. So plenty of space. While finding space for the seat mechanism I loosened the rear guard Original Angled Looks a bit better in my opinion, my hope is that with it flatter like that it will guard a bit more mud. Wet gravel roads result in covered plate and rear lights, with the slightest bit landing on my back. Might add a truly stylish rubber flap if it doesn't help
  12. They pulse on every stroke tho, so spark could be out of kilter with the cam
  13. Green and black dealie on the auto shifter. Can open it up and clean the contacts and bend them a bit. I've remembered it wrong. It won't crank in that fail. You hotwire the grey with blue stripe wire to start relay. Do you still have a fusebox? Check fuse 10 I think, that goes to efi relay. The fail I'm thinking of is the ECU. Mines got a dodgy connection and doesn't turn on the efi. I just unplug it and plug it back in and it comes right
  14. I constantly have problems with my auto park switch. Will crank but no power to fuel injectors. Can bypass that with a live wire to the relay to check
  15. Does the fuel pump run when key is in start/crank pos. The oil switch is supposed to be connected up to the fuel pump. The idea being that if the car is upside down there's no oil pressure and fuel is cut. There is a bypass so that when car is cranking I think the fuel pump works in order to start. Then the wiring from the oil switch is supposed to take over. You may have one of the few cars this was correctly wired up in? Try hardwire the fuel pump maybe to check
  16. Con1 on left sitting in drivers seat Orange clip Wires left to right at top are red black stripe. Empty. Brown. Black. Pink. Brown red stripe Con 2 in middle Blue clip Wires left to right at the top Grey, grey, brown white stripe, brown white stripe. Green. Tan Con 3 right hand side pos. Orange clip Wires at top. Empty. Black white stripe. Empty. Brown yellow stripe. Empty. Empty.. My Ute starts and drives with no cluster
  17. Yup yup But it should run without the instrument cluster at all
  18. Was Gona get a tank bag, but realised I have more than enough junk laying around to put something together for free. Vintage Kathmandu bumbag pack No arm straps to flap about like a backpack. Waist strap goes nicely around the tank and frame Infront of the engine mount. Cut the hanging loop thing in half and made it two small loop to attach another strap which goes around the headstock Has multiple tightening down straps which work perfectly in use as a tank bag Still usable as a bumbag pack so I can take it off the bike for hiking around. Will also work as a tail bag if wanted. Undo the headstock strap and I can move it down to fill the fuel up. Only thing missing is a clear pouch for maps/pace notes. Will figure out something for that.
  19. I do t think the dates will work for me, but if they do il be there
  20. That's very Chur of you. I have some mild steel bends left over from Morrie exhaust, so am set for that/have a mig so stainless is a bit wasted on me
  21. Think I will do the exhaust something like this. Dr200 header tucks in the best to avoid burning stuff. Muffler can be shortened a little (I have a 2" Coby here but it's so heavy) will probably pop a dB killer thing in the end of it. Will make a rear pipe out of 38mm bends. Should be able to clear the panniers, shock, tyre, and pillion this way. Have only found one pic of a gn125 with high scrambler exhaust, no one seems to bother changing the header at all. Having no panniers or pillion would make it easier Muffler is via @UTERUS so hopefully the bike doesn't catch on fire now
  22. Instructions for my one say you can use any charger as long as it supplies a constant charge (doesn't increase as the battery charges)
