  1. Days off are slim, riding down and back adds like 6 days realistically on a in the spirit bike. Not sure if an extra 2 or so days can be swung tbh I might have to fly/sit on the couch with a cup of tea tbh
  2. If desperate try yahoo auctions japan/buyee I didn't dig too far, but there's some engines on there for sale, usually there's a guy selling everything stripped down
  3. Same as commodore? I have an eprom writer, adaptors, and UV eraser here https://pcmhacking.net/forums/
  4. You could probably show the frame number and supporting info from yamaha regarding deciphering year based on frame number. And of course that the vin is not tampered with/matches the frame number
  5. "When a vehicle's details are recorded incorrectly on the Motor Vehicle Register (MVR), these can be corrected by sending an Application to Change Vehicle Details (form MR16, available at any New Zealand Transport Agency agent) to the NZTA Most MR16 forms need to be sent with supporting documentation to prove that the information recorded on the MVR is incorrect i.e. if the vehicle model is recorded incorrectly we would require documents from the manufacturer to prove this before a change would be made."
  6. Excellent shitbox fabrication They do a bunch of stanced driving around as well
  7. I have a weed eater motor ready to go on, power one wheel at low speed.
  8. Have some badge rivets on the way. Urethaned on for now
  9. Wheels painted I panel glue urethaned the old tyres back on and ran a screw through the join. Will see how that goes Tried my hand at some gold leaf lettering, boy that shit sticks to everything. And added an Indian coin for a head badge. Anna's birthday in a couple weeks, just got to plate the bars and it's done. Supposed to have hubcaps on the rear wheels, but I only have one, will think about pewter casting another if I get time
  10. Recovered the seat with some leather like it would have had originally Can't get the one rear wheel apart without breaking the spokes, so will paint them white rather than plating the hub and painting the rim. Same with the front, that will be white, polish the bearing retainers up and send it
  11. I can't get my camera to focus on it. But with clear on it. It glows in the sun. Heaps of fine flake under the candy This sort of gives you an idea Clear done, it's gona rain soon, good timing
  12. Decent for outside under a tree tho tbh. Just got a little bit of leaf in the inside of the tray. Which I painted white as well. Obviously in use that won't stay white for 2 mins
  13. Candy apple red and snowflake pearl white. White didn't come out great, but il probably leave it and hide it under a lot of clearcoat. Have used about 12 mixing cups for all the basecoats, pearls, and candy's lol. If it rains right now I will be upset
  14. Nzta has a complaint form somewhere Also if they are an mta member you can go through that Therea a bit saying they don't take complaints about tyres lol
  15. Yeah there's more options for byo plate Keep an eye on hustle live for dealz @TimShadboltfan27 One foggy morning I applied too much throttle on my gn250 at a T intersection. Lit the rear wheel up and I very slowly pirouetted in front of an oncoming lorry full of bridge parts, thankfully the tyre heated up and I got traction at thr last minute
  16. Does look like slim pickings right now There's a $900 gn125 This would be rad, rego on hold, but budget wise not fantastic https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/motorbikes/motorbikes/classic-vintage/honda/listing/4081538802 I went on a bike quote site a month ago for Dunedin to Auckland and they kept dropping it till around $500
  17. With any luck ip put the final coat of primer on the frame tomorrow and put the colour on later this week
