  1. Who attaches the WOF sticker? More running around I suppose. I just bought an un-plated import. It had a WOF and when I arrived we ran it around to VTNZ and had the plates issued.
  2. No security features on those plates, so you should be good to go on.
  3. Looks like it has had a casting flaw that has been welded up and ground back.
  4. Also some repairs in the boot floor area and seal lip And I got him to delete the aerial hole as it was broken off anyway Drove it home yesterday, barely made it to the nearest gas station but sweet after that. Missing a few bits for now. Delivered to paint shop today, but main man wasn't there. Will go discuss the plan tomorrow.
  5. Rusty rust rust. The leaded seam between the guard (probably the same pressing as a Galaxie) and the headlight peak was going bad on both sides. Seam cut out and replaced
  6. 4BT swap should sort out that dieseling issue.
  7. Nice one on the gasket fix. Shocked that you used australian coins though.
  8. I dunno. Isn't there usually a lever that connects to the suspension somehow?
  9. Getting a cert for a proportioning valve should be easy, but will cost $$. Can't you replace the factory part? That would be the easiest and probably cheapest option https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/car-parts-accessories/toyota/electrics/listing/4445657106
  10. No worries, chucked it on TM Vintage NZR New Zealand Railways Copper Thermette | Trade Me Marketplace
  11. Yes, this is all you are allowed to do without cert
  12. @KKtrips Do you still want this? I'm decluttering
  13. It's about as bad as the visible damage indicated
  14. At least the steering wheel airbag delete is only bad for the driver not every other road user.
  15. Mercury has been sent up the road to Mercury Garage for some derustification Lower rear quarters, sills, front of rear wheel arches, gas tank support are the main issues
  16. You could try asking NZTA / OIA? It could be a way to use the rules they have (safety systems) to back-in improving pedestrian safety without having to make a lot of new rules.
